• Humantay Lake - We depart from the city at 4:30 am, heading north to the town of Mollepata (about a 2-hour journey). Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a 30-minute breakfast, then proceed by vehicle to the starting point of our hike (roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes away). Here, we’ll have the opportunity to use the restrooms and dress appropriately for the climb to HUMANTAY LAGOON. A briefing about the region and safety measures will be provided, along with coordination for horse rentals (note that horses can only be used for the final 20 minutes of the ascent). At Humantay Lagoon, we’ll spend an hour capturing photos before descending to our initial location and moving on to Mollepata for a buffet lunch. We then make our way back to the city of Cusco, arriving around 6:00 pm.
