The Trail: An easy path to start. Lunch in Miskay and a visit to the Llactapata site. Hike to the first camp in Yuncachimpa, with views of Nevado Veronica.
Day’s details: 6 - 7 hours of hiking, 11 km. Difficulty: Moderate.

Winay Wayna - Day 3: Phuyupatamarca to Wiñaywayna
Experience a day of diverse landscapes, transitioning from cloud forest to lush tropical forest. After passing two lagoons at the summit, you will gently ascend to the third pass, enjoying a stunning view of the Urubamba Valley.
Explore the intriguing archaeological site of Phuyupatamarca (Village above the clouds) with its Inca baths. The trail, featuring steps and an Inca tunnel, leads to the archaeological center of Wiñaywayna (2650m), where the final camp is located, offering amenities like hot water.
Difficulty: Normal
Climate: Warm and very humid
Hike: 5 - 6 hours / approximately 10 km.
Wiñayhuayna – Inti Punku – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Day 4: Arrival at Machu Picchu and Return
Start early to reach Inti Punku (Gate of the Sun) and witness the sunrise over Machu Picchu. After a one-hour descent, enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of the citadel to uncover its history and secrets.
Then, take the bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time (optional visit to hot springs). In the afternoon, the train will return you to Cusco, concluding this unforgettable adventure.
