Sensational - The most beautiful landscape of our trip was the lagoon! But it's a rough walk with rise. The accompaniment of the guides was fundamental to motivate us! It's worth it! It's wonderful

Unforgettable Day Trekking to Humantay Lake - We had an incredible time trekking to Humantay Lake and experiencing the beauty of the Andes! From start to finish, this adventure was well organized, with amazing views, a friendly guide, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the stunning natural surroundings. We started the day bright and early with a pre-arranged pickup from our hotel in Cusco, heading out northwest. Along the way, we passed through charming traditional villages, giving us a glimpse into daily life in the Andean highlands. The drive was beautiful, and we made a stop in Limatambo before continuing on to Mollepata for a hearty breakfast. This was the perfect fuel for the hike ahead. After breakfast, we continued by car to Soraypampa, where our guide shared insights about the flora, fauna, and local customs. Upon arrival at Soraypampa, we began our 1-hour climb by horses to Humantay Lake. T The views were absolutely breathtaking. When we reached Humantay Lake, we were in awe of the stunning turquoise waters surrounded by the towering Humantay and Salkantay glaciers. It was a perfect spot to pause, relax, and take in the beauty of the mountains. It’s also worth mentioning that just a few days before our trip, there was a rockslide in the area, and there was concern whether the trail would be open. The tour company made sure we were safe and carefully monitored the situation, deciding that it was safe to proceed with the trek. This gave us a little worry at first, but in the end, everything went smoothly, and the experience was more than worth it. After resting at the lake, we retraced our steps back to Soraypampa, where the car was waiting to take us to for a delicious buffet lunch. The food was fantastic and just what we needed. We then made our way back to Cusco, tired but absolutely happy with the day’s adventure. This trek to Humantay Lake is definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience Peru’s natural beauty in a more active way.

Beautiful! - The walk to the Laguna is very arduous, for those who like challenges it is great otherwise I suggest to reserve a sum to horse riding , will be the 80 best paid soles of your life kkk but at the end of the walk everything pays off , one of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen! Our guide Oscar was an attraction apart, very lively, astral high even, left everything lighter and shared with us all his knowledge.

Indescribable - Extreme level of difficulty to overcome the walk. A lot of mud, rain, cold, strong horse smell, difficulty breathing, which were very valuable when I got to the lagoon.

Perfect Landscape - The climb is quite steep with irregular terrain and many rocks, so it is good to go with specific tennis. It was an average of 3.5km and 1:10h. But the landscape makes all the effort worth it, I highly recommend

Surreal! - Amazing place. I climbed the horse and could appreciate the whole wonderful landscape around, there is a lot of beautiful things beyond the lake to appreciate. And the quieter climb allowed me to see it. I didn't have much trouble climbing the second half on foot. We were very lucky with the climate, the lake is absurdly beautiful with its background seems to have been designed to perfection. The descent, contrary to what I was told, could be done to the horse, but I had not taken more money in kind and I ended up descending on foot, which was very good too, I took several beautiful photos on the way!

Laguna Humantay - The tour is not easy, the way to get to the lagoon is inclined and requires physical preparation, especially to climb in the time stimulated by the guide to be able to enjoy the lagoon for a while. You have the option of horse riding for 80-90 soils for those who can't stand it. The day I went was rainy and there was a lot of fog, which was kind of boring, but in a moment the time opened and it was possible to see the lagoon for a few moments.
