Juchuy Coscco - Upon arrival, guests prepare for a moderate uphill hike lasting about three hours, reaching the highest point at 4,200 m/13,779 ft, while carrying their backpacks. From this vantage point, the views of the surrounding snowcapped mountains and valleys are truly spectacular. The journey continues to the Pukamarka settlement for lunch and a visit to the Inca ruins. From there, the group follows the ancient Inca trail to Huchuy Qosqo, an Inca city. There is time to explore the city before heading to the community of Lamay. The walk down into the Sacred Valley takes about 2 hours, offering breathtaking views of the Inca city and its surroundings.

Inca Trail - Sungate - Machu Picchu
Ollantaytambo - Guests proceed to the train station for a pleasant ride to the trailhead.
Chachabamba - The journey stops at KM 104, where the ancient Inca trail begins in the beautiful cloud forest of the Andean mountains. Chachabamba, a small archaeological site believed to have been a guard house for Machu Picchu and a place for offerings before entering the Machu Picchu citadel, is the first Inca site encountered. The trail then ascends gradually for about three hours, reaching 8,690 feet (2,650 meters). A stunning waterfall is passed along the way, leading to Wiñay Wayna, which means “forever young” in the Indigenous Quechua language.
Winay Wayna Camp - Wiñay Wayna is considered the most beautiful and well-preserved Incan site on the Inca Trail, discovered only seventy years ago. After exploring Wiñay Wayna and having lunch, the journey continues on level ground for about 1.5 hours to the “Sun Gate,” offering a grand view of Machu Picchu.
Inti Punku Sun Gate - From the Sun Gate Vista Point, guests descend for about forty minutes toward the main structures of the citadel, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views along the paved Classic Inca Trail. Finally, a bus is taken to Aguas Calientes for dinner and an overnight stay.
The hike covers eight miles (13 kilometers) to Machu Picchu.

Aguas Calientes - After breakfast at the hotel, guests proceed to the bus station for a 20-minute drive to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
Machupicchu cusco - At Machu Picchu, guests enjoy an incredible guided tour of one of the world’s wonders. It is highly recommended to leave early in the morning (5 a.m.) to reach the citadel in time to watch the sunrise over the Inca ruins. Due to new regulations, the location will be less crowded.
Temple of the Sun - The remarkable craftsmanship of the Incas, arranged by architects and engineers, remains evident even centuries later. The precision of the carved walls contrasts beautifully with the wild, lush slopes and rocky peaks. After the Machu Picchu day trip, guests take a bus down to Aguas Calientes town and then return to Cusco.

Ollantaytambo - Guests return by train. After traveling from Machu Picchu Pueblo to Ollantaytambo, transportation is ready to take them back to the hotel in Cusco.
