- Moray - Situated about 7 km southwest of Maras and 53 km from Cusco, Moray stands at an altitude of 3,385 meters above sea level. It is a unique archaeological site in the region, featuring enormous natural depressions that the Incas utilized by constructing agricultural terraces with irrigation channels. This site serves as a prototype greenhouse, with the largest depression reaching a depth of 150 meters and the average height of the terraces being 1.80 meters between each level.
- Salinas de Maras - To conclude the tour, a visit to the Salineras or “Salt Mines” is in order. Located northwest of the town of Maras, these consist of approximately 2,000 small pools. These salt mines have been exploited since the Inca era as a means of economic exchange and continue to be utilized by local residents today.
