• Humantay Lake - The journey begins bright and early between 4:30 am and 5:00 am, as travelers board a tourist bus heading to the town of Mollepata. This scenic trip lasts about 2 hours and passes through charming villages like Poroy and Limatambo. Upon reaching Mollepata (2900 meters above sea level), a delightful breakfast awaits before continuing by bus to Soraypampa (3900 meters above sea level). From there, the hike to the stunning Humantay Lake (4200 meters above sea level) begins, taking approximately an hour. This location is perfect for photography, enjoying the scenery, and admiring the lagoon’s crystal-clear waters. In the afternoon, the group will return to Cusco, concluding the adventure. After exploring the area and taking in the view of Humantay Mountain (5450 meters above sea level) in the Vilcabamba range of the Andes, the guide will provide insights into this magnificent place. The return journey to Soraypampa includes exploring the Salkantay trail (6271 meters above sea level) and viewing this sacred mountain, the second highest in the Cusco region. A delicious lunch will be served before heading back to Cusco, with an expected arrival time of around 5:00 p.m.
