The adventure continues through a picturesque valley adorned with crops and vibrant villages such as San Pedro, Sicuani, and Layo/Marangani, leading to the car park via a scenic winding road.
A brief, one-and-a-half-hour uphill hike will take participants to the Pallay Poncho Mountain viewpoint. Upon reaching the top, the renowned Rainbow Mountain reveals its stunning colors, created by the oxidation of minerals and clay, resembling the stripes of an Andean poncho. From this vantage point, the breathtaking views of the Andes mountain range and Lake Languilayo can be enjoyed.
After capturing photos and soaking in the magnificent scenery, the group will descend and proceed to the archaeological site of Raqchi.
