The journey continues by road towards Sicuani, where you can admire the expansive blue lagoon of Langui in the distance, stretching over 15 km. The route passes close to its shores before proceeding to the starting point in Layo.
Upon arrival, a challenging uphill hike of approximately two hours awaits. The path is adorned with grasslands and striking reddish soils, accompanied by the area’s typical wildlife: alpacas, llamas, and, if fortunate, sightings of kestrels, peregrine falcons, or the renowned condor soaring above. Upon reaching Pallay Punchu del Apu Taqllo, which translates from Quechua as “woven poncho,” you can climb the ridges and experience the sensation of flying over an otherworldly landscape.
- Sicuani - The journey continues by road towards Sicuani, with the magnificent blue lagoon of Langui visible in the distance, extending over 15 km. A stop will be made near the shores before proceeding to the starting point in Layo. To conclude, the return journey to Cusco will commence.

Unforgettable day. - Superb day accompanied by Wilbert, an excellent attentive and considerate guide for our well-being. We highly recommend him. The driver was punctual, and his car was comfortable and clean. A perfect day.

The beauty of the site and my best guide ever had - The pick up was on time,
The guide and the driver were very gentlement and helpfull.
The guide Wilbert was my best guide i ever had, he was attentif of our need, very polite, he help me with , how to do with the altitude, he took us me and my wife a lot of beautiful pictures and he send me those pictures on whapp sap.We were threated as a king and queen.
One of our best journey of my life.

Best Pallay Punchu Tour on TripAdvisor, and with Danny's guide. - Amazing tour with Danny in Pallay Punchu.
I can say with ownership that the private tour I had with Danny and the whole company, along with the private driver, was noted ten. Extremely professional, super attentive and sought-after in all the help from the start to the end of the tour.
I was picked up at the hotel, as scheduled on schedule, then took me for a boosted breakfast and also had a spectacular lunch included in the tour. Peruvian food, of the highest quality.
About the tour, I researched a lot before closing with any company and this one surprised me. Danny, the guide, I recommend with closed eyes, have the opportunity to visit Pallay Punchu with him.
Extremely kind, requested and removed me all doubts during the journey. Up to the top of the mountain we did a classic Peruvian ceremony. He shared the story about the mountain, especially the whole journey to it as well.
Of all the tours to Pallay Punchu here on TripAdvisor, I recommend this here, without a shadow of doubt, and ask to do with the guide Danny. Unique experience. I recommend!

A Challenging Yet Beautiful Pallay Punchu Hike with Bruce - Our adventure to Pallay Punchu was both challenging and incredibly rewarding, and Bruce made all the difference. His encouragement kept us going, and his guidance made the hike feel safe and well-paced. He shared interesting insights along the way and always checked on everyone in the group. Reaching the top and seeing those views was unforgettable, and thanks to Bruce, the entire journey felt smooth and enjoyable.

This was our favorite day in Cusco - Not many tourists go to Pallay Punchu yet, so it felt wild and untouched. The private guide gave us time to rest, take pictures, and just enjoy the moment. The colors of the mountain looked unreal, especially under the afternoon sun.

A magical trip - We started the trip super early, and watching the sunrise over the Andes was magical. The private service made everything comfortable, a good car, a warm breakfast, and a guide who really cared. The hike wasn’t easy, but every step was rewarded with breathtaking views.
