Here, you can relax after your journey and receive personalized advice on the top attractions, must-do activities, and helpful tips for your stay in Lima.
The afternoon is set aside for relaxation and acclimatization, but if you prefer, you can embark on an initial exploration on your own. We suggest visiting the Malecón de Miraflores for a scenic walk along the Costa Verde seafront or heading to Larcomar, a shopping center with breathtaking ocean views and a diverse culinary selection.
For this first day, we recommend opting for light meals to help you adjust to the new environment.
City Tour Lima
Lima - The day begins with an early pickup from your hotel for a comprehensive 5-hour tour of Lima, divided into three parts:
- Ancient Lima: Visit Huaca Pucllana, an impressive pre-Inca ceremonial center dating back to 500 AD, showcasing the Lima civilization.
- Colonial Lima: Explore the Historic Center, where you’ll discover architectural treasures such as the Palace of Justice, Plaza San Martin, La Merced Church, Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral of Lima, the Chocolate Museum, and the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank.

Modern Lima: Conclude the tour in the modern district of Miraflores, with stops at the Parque del Amor and the Villena Bridge, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.
To complete the experience, we suggest dining at Mangos Larcomar, a restaurant with sea views that serves the finest Peruvian cuisine (lunch not included).
Paracas – Ica Full Day
Huacachina - Depart early from Lima heading south, with a breakfast stop along the way. Upon reaching Paracas, enjoy a sea excursion to the Ballestas Islands, viewing the Candelabro geoglyph. Continue to Ica to visit the El Catador winery, where you’ll sample artisanal wines and piscos. After a traditional lunch, explore the Huacachina oasis and experience an exhilarating dune buggy and sandboarding adventure. Return to Lima in the afternoon.
Arrival in Cusco / City Tour
Sacsayhuaman - Start the day with a transfer from your hotel to Jorge Chávez Airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed and taken to your hotel to rest and acclimate to the altitude. A light meal is advised for the initial hours.
In the afternoon, embark on the Cusco City Tour at 2:00 p.m., beginning with the Cusco Cathedral, a colonial masterpiece with valuable artworks. Next, visit Qoricancha, an ancient Inca temple dedicated to the Sun. Continue to nearby archaeological sites: Sacsayhuamán, with its massive stone walls; Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial center; and finally Tambomachay and Puka Pucara, where you’ll learn about the significance of water and territorial control in the Inca Empire.
Conclude the tour by returning to Cusco, with a drop-off near the Plaza de Armas, allowing you to freely explore the historic center, savor local cuisine, and enjoy the city’s unique atmosphere.
Sacred Valley
Ollantaytambo - At 08:00 hrs, the tour begins with a pickup from your hotel to head to the Sacred Valley. En route, stop at the Taray Viewpoint to admire the region’s panoramic views.
The first stop is the Pisaq Market, a vibrant place filled with local products, where you can interact with vendors and purchase typical souvenirs. Next, visit the Pisaq Archaeological Park, a fascinating Inca site with agricultural terraces and ceremonial structures.
Afterwards, travel to Urubamba for a delicious buffet lunch to recharge. Continue to the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Center, known for its impressive terraces and rich Inca history.
Finally, proceed to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes. The train journey takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, and upon arrival, hotel staff will be waiting to transfer you to your accommodation.
Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu - Start the day with a delightful breakfast in Aguas Calientes. Then, walk to the bus stop to take the shuttle to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. The bus ride, about 30 minutes, offers breathtaking views of the area.
Once at Machu Picchu, embark on a 2.5-hour guided tour, exploring the sanctuary’s most iconic sites while the guide shares the history and secrets of this ancient site.
After the guided tour, enjoy free time to take photos, explore further on your own, and appreciate the site’s unique beauty.
Return to Aguas Calientes by bus, where you’ll have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where a driver will transport you back to Cusco, dropping you off at your hotel or in the city center.
Route of the Sun
Uros Floating Islands - Cusco – Puno via the Route of the Sun (Full Day)
At 6:00 AM, you’ll be picked up from your hotel to begin the tour bus journey to Puno, following the iconic Route of the Sun. Along the way, cultural stops will be made at notable sites:
Andahuaylillas Chapel, known as the “Sistine Chapel of the Andes”
Raqchi, an impressive complex dedicated to the god Wiracocha
Buffet lunch at a local restaurant
Paso de la Raya, the highest point of the route with views of the snow-capped mountain
Pucará Lithic Museum, with unique pre-Inca artifacts
Arrive in Puno at 5:00 PM and transfer to your hotel to rest.
Uros / Taquile
Uros Floating Islands - Begin the day with a pickup from your hotel between 7:10 and 7:25 a.m., heading to the port of Puno. Once on board, sail across Lake Titicaca to the Uros Floating Islands, where you’ll learn about the history, traditions, and lifestyle of the Uros people, who construct their islands and boats from totora reeds.
Then, continue the journey to Taquile Island, a trip of approximately two hours. Upon arrival, take a guided walk to learn about the local culture, renowned for its UNESCO-recognized handicrafts. Enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by the locals: quinoa soup, trout or tortilla, potatoes, rice, and muña mate.
After this cultural experience, board the boat again to return to Puno, enjoying the Andean scenery along the way. Upon arrival at the port, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel, concluding an enriching day in the heart of Lake Titicaca.
Airport Transfer in Juliaca
Juliaca - After breakfast at the hotel and at the scheduled time for your flight, our staff will pick you up from your accommodations to transfer you to Inca Manco Capac International Airport, in the city of Juliaca (approximately 1 hour from Puno).
Once at the airport, you’ll receive assistance with check-in and boarding. You’ll board your flight to Lima or another city, at which point our service concludes.
