Delicious and informative cooking class in a professional work space - The market visit was interesting. We shopped for a few items later used im the dishes. Jesus shared many useful knife and cooking techniques. The three dishes and cocktails were regional and delicious! Highly recommend.

Cuzco Cooking at it's finest - Y’all. Let me tell you ’bout Chef Eric. We showed up late (thank you, chaotic Peruvian traffic), and bless his heart, he and the crew welcomed us in like long-lost cousins at a family cookout. We jumped right into the market meetup, where we laid eyes on the freshest, most colorful ingredients I’ve ever seen—things I can’t even pronounce but now desperately need in my pantry. Chef Eric? A whole vibe. Charming, funny, and patient enough to walk a bunch of distracted foodies through multiple recipes and cocktails without losing his cool. He gave us foolproof instructions even I could follow (and I once burned boiled eggs, so that’s saying something). Everything we made? Chef’s kiss—mouthwatering, flavorful, and downright addictive. The cocktails didn’t hurt either. 🍹 The vibes were immaculate. Good food, great people, and belly laughs from start to finish. My crew and I were full, tipsy, and grinning like we’d just won a cook-off. We learned a ton about Peruvian cuisine, tried new flavors, and even got some local recs for the rest of our trip. The space was spotless, and there were lovely kitchen fairies—aka staff—constantly restocking and cleaning like magic elves in an apron. I didn’t lift a single dirty dish (now that’s my kind of cooking class). 10/10 would recommend. If you’re in Peru and want an experience that feeds your soul and your stomach, this is it. Come hungry, leave happy, and maybe just a little buzzed. 🙃

Great way to spend an afternoon in Cusco - We loved our Peruvian cooking class with cocktails. Our chef was on time at San Pedro market to introduce us to local foods and other market items. After returning to the cooking session, we began making our delicious drinks and meals. We made a Pisco sour, a ceviche, causa and a quinoa tamale as well as a second drink. The cooking staff does an amazing job to keep the cooking prep area, clean and tidy. For what you would pay for dinner it is absolutely worth the experience. Our class was much longer than the four hours quoted, which was wonderful because nobody felt rushed. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend that when in Cusco you use Peruvian Cuco flavors!

Great Learning and Cooking Experience - Chef Jesus was very informative explaining so much about the Peruvian foods at the market and what we were cooking. He tailored the class to different diet needs as well. What we ate was delicious and I loved how we focused on the appearance of the food plating as well. That said, you could tell that he does this twice a day and seven days per week as he seemed tired and a bit distracted. I was also under the impression that we were going to end where we started at San Pedro market as I had to walk back alone at 8pm on side streets not really knowing where I was going (google maps to the rescue and fortunately I could walk faster than the couple of drunks who took notice of me!). All in all, I would do this class again as I got a lot out of it. Chef even sent all of the recipes in a follow up email.

Great cooking class, don't miss it - We came across the course by chance through an advertisement in our hostel, and were more than happy that we also signed up. First we went through the market together where the hustle and bustle, as well as local products like cheese, bread, fruit and potatoes were explained to us in a bit more detail. ES then continued with the cooking class. With Jesùs we had a very well-positioned and entertaining cook as a teacher. I prefer not to say too much about the menu, except that all ES was very delicious and we really want to recook it at home. (Recipes will be sent to you at the end) Also the two cocktails were very delicious he showed us. The whole group was absolutely thrilled!(there were three of us out of 8 total) So if you have half a day, you should definitely treat yourself.

Fantastic experience and beautiful, delicious food - This was really a wonderful experience. Chef Eric is engaging, warm, and knowledgeable. The pacing of the experience is great—we really enjoyed the experience of the market and the walk through the city to the studio. The dishes and cocktails were fantastic and we learned a lot about the cuisine and its history. Chef Eric is also very attentive to food safety and gave us great tips to avoid getting sick. All in all a very memorable experience, very professionally presented!
