Cerro Colorado Vinicunca - Our great tour towards the mountain of colors in ATVs begins with the pick up of tourists in their respective hotels from 3:15 to 3:30 am, at the first time and then travel in our tourist transport for a time of 2:40 minutes to the town of Japura (4200 meters above sea level), arriving at this place approximately 6:20 am, where our delicious breakfast buffet awaits us.
after breakfast our guide will give the necessary instructions to start the great adventure in the ATVS traveling to qosqopata (4900 meters above sea level) for an average time of 1 hour and then walk for 35 minutes, a distance of 1.5 kilometers to reach the viewpoint of the impressive mountain of 7 colors (5038 meters above sea level), in mountain of colors we will have enough time to take the best photos because we are the first to reach the mountain of colors we find without the conglomeration of tourists a perfect time to take photos, shoot videos and enjoy the beauty of the colors after visiting we return for 25 minutes to the place where we leave the ATVs and then each take our ATVs and return to the town of Japura where our delicious awaits us lunch.
After lunch return to Cusco arriving at the average 3:30 pm, we finish the tour in the corresponding hotels.

Beautiful views! - Amazing experience! The weather was incredible and the guides were very nice and informative! It will be cold in the morning but through the day it will warm up.

Fun Times Even During a Hail Storm. - The tour operators were incredible. They took care of our group. Made sure we all had fun and addressed any issues we had. When we got to the ATV in Rainbow Mountains the temperature just dropped. It got cold and we got horrible winds and hail. They made sure we were all together and no one got lost or incurred any injuries. They were thoughtful and I truly enjoyed this excursion and the group I was with. I would definitely do it again.

ATVs up rainbow mountain - It was an amazing experience, we drove the ATVs up the mountain for about an hour and then got on the back of motorcycles for the last little bit. We had plenty of time for photos on rainbow mountain and on the ATVs. It was very cool and I had a great time!

Far more worth it - The tour is about 3 hours from Cusco, for me it was super worth it, I found it wonderful! We went from Van and when we arrived we went in quadricycle.

Well Organized and Wonderful Tour - This is a well organized tour. The downside is the super early pick up time at 3:30 am. But we got to the Rainbow Mountain after nice breakfast and before most of the people can make it there. So it was less crowded and we were able to take better pictures. Lunch was also included at the same restaurant on our way back to the hotel. It's worth the 12-hour tour.

Great tour. - We really enjoyed this tour. It was well organized. Arturo and Yadira are great guides. They gave us all information and walk us through all the steps. This tour will save you a lot of energy by not walking to the top of the mountain.

Fun way to view a unique natural display - Great service from Inca Explorer viajes team.
Communication updates via WhatsApp., pickup time was spot on 03:30am and general instructions about the day, on the day was enough to know what was planned for us. Aurturo, Jenetta and Ernesto (bus driver) looked after us all day - they were very good.
Being based in Cusco, the journey to Rainbow Mt was over 3hrs drive but it was broken up into two 1.5h segments., with a breakfast and Lunch stop each way. Food presented was basic breakfast fare with hot and cold selections, along with a hearty vegetable soup, which was delicious and just what was needed at 6am May morning. Similarly, at lunch time the food choice was extensive and very delicious.
As for the quad-bike and motor cycle experience, it was great as a first time. They have a simple run down of the safety features of the ATV and instructions to follow during the ride. It was simply a lot of fun. The motorcycle ride was just as exciting and the drivers simply dropped u off about 50m from the top.
As for the rainbow mountain, it was impressive and popular. Due to emerging medical issue, we elected to stay at the lower viewing platform, and not climb the adjacent mountain for the aerial viewing position. As much as the rainbow mountain was the main attraction, the surrounding vista along the valleys on both side as well as the mountain ranges we rode by in the ATV was just as spectacular.
On a serious note, high altitude sickness affected my wife and she needed urgent first aid., which Auturo and Jenetta help us down the mountain as quickly as possible. I could not thank them enough for they did for my wife and going the extra mile for well-being. In fact, there were other tour guides with Oxygen bottles that came to assist, which was great. Suffice my wife recovered well once were driving back to Cusco. It was a scary ordeal and thankful that our tour guide helped in our time of need .
Putting aside the medical urgency I experienced, the quad bike tour was a great experience and delivered on what they promised
