Why so early? Ahaa because of tropic rain at 12 which we avoid! - Great experience. David is excelent tour guy, with good energy and helpfull. Food was very good, a wide selection, everyone could find something for himself.

Fantastic Day On Rainbow Mountain in Peru - This tour of Rainbow Mountain was wonderful, 5-Star all the way. The Tour Guide was excellent too. We would do this again without question. What a beautiful mountain !!

Highly recommend! - We had such an amazing time on our tour! Anibal was a fun guide and was very accommodating for everyone in our group. It was so convenient that we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, and the provided meals were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Our guide was Alfredo and... - Our guide was Alfredo and it was just me and my wife for the hike as others had cancelled the trip at the last moment. We had a very good experience hiking up the rainbow mountain. We learnt a lot of things on the way about different plantations and animals around the area. About the glaciers and lots more.

Beautiful mountains! - We had an amazing time!! The pickup time was very early but worth it because we reached the mountain by 8am when views were good and fewer crowds. Our guide Carlos was very knowledgeable and supportive.

Full Day Rainbow Mountain Tour - Our Full Day Rainbow Mountain Tour was an incredible adventure, made even better by our superb guide and driver. Their expertise and friendly demeanor ensured we had an unforgettable experience. The stunning landscapes and vibrant colors of Rainbow Mountain are a must-see, but it’s essential to acclimatize in Cusco for at least 4-5 days before attempting this tour. The altitude can be challenging, and proper acclimatization is crucial for enjoying the hike comfortably.
Our guide was knowledgeable and attentive, providing insightful information about the area’s history and geology. The driver navigated the winding roads with skill, ensuring a smooth and safe journey. The tour was well-organized, and we felt well taken care of from start to finish.
If you’re planning to visit Rainbow Mountain, I highly recommend this tour company. Their professionalism and dedication to their guests’ experience are top-notch. Make sure to spend a few days acclimatizing in Cusco to fully enjoy this breathtaking adventure.

Magic - It was an amazing experience. The walk is exhausting but has magical views. Our Guide was excellent. I highly recommend visiting Red Valley and Mountain 7 colors.

Rainbow Mountains - Honest Review - Had a great day out in the Rainbow Mountains organized by Machu Pich Reservations.
Even though it is not a long trek up to the top, being over 5000m high you will feel the effects of the lack of oxygen.
As long as you take it nice and easy, drink plenty of water you will do it, you don’t even need trekking boots, just a decent pair of trainers will do
At the top the weather can change suddenly as we found out, wind, then scattered shower followed by hailstones so make sure you have a warm fleece and waterproof jacket with you at all times.
If you think you are going to struggle or have just come into Cusco and not had a chance to aclimatise then recommend that you let your guide get you a horse to take you up three quarters of the way, that way you still get to experience walking the last bit whilst safeguarding your health.
Reason why I am saying is that because in our group, one couple were rushed to hospital in an ambulance due to the altitude and then whilst on the way down a young girl collapsed in the back of our van and we had to get her out and giver her oxygen, thanks Shep.
Machu Pichu Reservations can you make sure that you remove used oxygen bottles as the first one we used was empty, second one nearly empty, luckly the third one was full.

BAD TOUR - CANCELLED LAST MINUTE - Horrible experience. On Christmas Eve, with less than 24 hour notice, the tour company cancelled the trip. (I booked through Viator, a subsidiary of Tripadvisor, who mandates consumers can only cancel with more than 24 hour notice.) Luckily, I was able to go with another tour company. When contacted, the original tour company claimed it was cancelled due to weather. However, when I went to Rainbow Mountain, there was no issues with weather. I talked to other tour guides from other services and they said there was no issue with weather. Additionally, the other tour services speculated this service suddenly had their guides absent due to Christmas and just blamed weather. I would not trust this company ever and would recommend to go with other services to Rainbow Mountain.
