Totally recommend - We had unforgettable experience. Communication, transportation, the tour - everything was perfect and organized properly. And it's worth to mention our guide - such easygoing and friendly man, that helped us a lot and took care about every step. And the lunch was pretty good, that was surprising. I still can't forget delicious salad that I got there. It's worth to take motorcycle one way and go by foot the way back from mountain. Our guide recommended us that and it was the best decision. Motorcycle for one way costs less - 70 soles.

Great value! - This tour handles all the transportation to and back from rainbow mountain. There is a motorbike option if you don’t want to do the 1 hr hike up. It gave us the flexibility to decide what we wanted to do after we got there. I would recommend taking the motor bike up and walking down to experience the beautiful trail leading up to rainbow mountain.

Take the motorcycle, enjoy Rainbow mountain and walk back - Absolutely solid experience! We did this tour the day after climbing Machu Picchu so took the motorcycle option - best decision. Very well organised trip, comfortable, well paced and reasonably priced.

We took the motorcycle... - We took the motorcycle tour then hiked 15 minutes to the top of the mountain and enjoyed the incredible view of this colorful rainbow mountain and red valley. Our tour guide was informative. Breakfast and lunch were delicious.

Excellent tour - This is an excellent tour. The pick up times were early and arranged the night before via WhatsApp. Was glad to leave Cusco early as it meant we beat the crowd at the mountain. Breakfast stop was halfway the trip up. We opted for the motor cycle option which is arranged separately when you get to the mountain and this was also well coordinated. The drive up was intense but safe and maybe 5 minutes. Note, the bike route is not the same as the walking route so you cant hop on a bike halfway. Well worth the 90soles return trip. The walk to the top after the drop off stop was 10-15 minutes but we did a slow walk up as the altitude really hits you. The guide provided us walking sticks which were handy. The views were amazing and we spent an hour to the top. Walk with cash for entrance fee, motor bike and tips for posing with the llamas. We waited roughly 5 mins for our bike driver but took in the views while waited. Freddy was our guide and provided great communication and information about the mountain. Wilfred? was also a safe driver. We stopped for lunch and then back to Cusco about 330pm. Tips - dress warm..very warm and walk with extra layers, gloves etc as it is super cold early in the morning. Overall, excellent tour and totally recommended.

An amazing and easy way to get to know the Mountain of Colors - We had an unforgettable experience with the easy tour to the Mountain of Colors of MC Peru Expeditions. Instead of walking for hours, we went by linear motorbike with a local driver, in the blink of an eye we were already on the mountain, we took the motorbike up and down walking the 2.3 km distance , it was a simple hike and we didn't miss anything of the road or the landscape.

Perfect. - Quiet route, simple and give you lots of facilities..I rode a motorcycle and walked down..The Guide and the great driver..it didn't take long and the buffet food places are great for what it costs!!!

Great tour - go up with the motorcycle, definitely worth it - Great tour, amazing view in the rainbow mountain. The guide explains clearly how hard it is going to the top, but people don’t believe him and decide to hike just to be out of breath in minutes. There are two other option: motorcycle and horses. I used the motorcycle and it was perfect, was at the top earlier than most people and got to take pictures without the crowds.

Long day but worth it - For a tour that didn't really have any reviews I was nervous but I promise there is no reason to be! Everything was planned out and coordinated perfectly. Both the guide and driver made sure to take care of everyone. As noted this motorcycle expedition is actually optional for the motorcycle. I would recommend spending the 70 soles (in cash) for a ride up. That altitude really is something and even walking the tiny bit from the motorcycle drop-off to the tippy top was 500 feet or less of elevation gain I still had to take 2 breaks. This also gives you significantly more time enjoying the sites. The horses can't get as close as the motorcycles FYI. In any case this trip was wonderful and I fully recommend it!

Ok tour - Awesome mountain! - My two adult daughters, & I were so excited for this tour, however we found it to a bit disorganized, which led to us being disappointed at the end of the day - Sigh! Please note, although we weren't happy with the tour that the tour guide was really good; & he could only do so much! The tour starts early in the morning, & includes both buffet style breakfast, & lunch... This part was fine. Once you arrive to the destination you're given the option to hike, or take a motorcycle; or horse up the mountain. We opted for the motorcycle, however what the tour fails to disclose is that there's a hike to the motorcycle point - Omg! After enduring the hike, the motorcycle takes you to a point of the mountain (not the top) in about 10 minutes. Keep in mind you will not be taken to the top, & for those of you whom are older, not in the best conditioning form, or not hikers (like myself) getting to the top will be super challenging! I chose not to hike to the top, & was fine with the view from the motorcycle drop off. Unfortunately getting down from the mountain was so confusing.. Some motorcycles didn't return to take travelers down, a few bikes broke down, & the entire process was a mess!! Lastly to top it off our guide wasn't there to help us navigate this mess of a process; & the bike riders didn't speak English.. Again, what a mess!! One of my daughters had to walk 1/2 down the mountain before another rider picked her up. By the time she reached us, she was crying uncontrollably.. Overall the tour was just ok. It would be a lot better if there was more than one guide to help travelers navigate the process. By the way, our guide had to leave us to hike the mountain with those who decided to actually hike... This is why the remaining travelers were left on our own - Sigh!
