- Cusco - The day starts bright and early, with pickups scheduled between 3:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. directly from your accommodation in Cusco to Cusipata. The initial journey lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Cusipata - The first stop is in Cusipata for a 30-minute breakfast break.
From there, the journey continues for another hour and a half, passing through the village of Pitumarca until reaching Hanchipata–Llama Chimpana, where the hike commences.
- Ausangate 7 Lagoons Peru - The hike begins at the base of the Ausangate mountain range, ascending for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
The group will then arrive at the highest point of Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), offering the best views of the stunning colors and the snow-capped Ausangate peak.
- Vinicunca Mountain - This is the highest point of the mountain. There will be a chance to observe various types of South American camelids (related to camels).
The tour will also include a visit to the Red Hill, where there will be time to appreciate the scenery and capture beautiful photos. Please be aware that the Red Hill entrance fee is not included in the ticket price.
- Cusipata - Stop in Cusipata for lunch.
- Cusco - The hike concludes with a 1-hour descent over flat terrain, returning to the starting point. The driver will be ready to take the group back to Cusipata for a 1-hour traditional lunch. After lunch, the return to Cusco is scheduled, with an estimated arrival time of 3:30 p.m.
