- Pitumarca - The drive continues through the district of Pitumarca towards the hike’s starting point. Along the route, travelers are treated to stunning views of the Vilcanota mountain range and traditional Andean scenery before embarking on the trek.
- Vinicunca Mountain - From the trailhead, a moderate hike of about one hour leads to Vinicunca, also known as Rainbow Mountain or Montaña de Siete Colores. At the viewpoint, travelers can marvel at the spectacular natural colors formed by mineral deposits and enjoy breathtaking vistas of the Andes and the surrounding Vilcanota mountain range.
- Cusipata - After descending from Rainbow Mountain, the return to Cusipata includes a buffet lunch before heading back to Cusco.

An Amazing Day at Rainbow Mountain - We did the Rainbow Mountain Tour and were really happy. Well organized from Start to end, Information and food. Especially hiking of the Rainbow Mountain Was spectacular with marvelous, breathtaking views. Our guides and driver were knowledgeable, friendly, patient and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. The food provided was also delicious and the driver was very skilled, I even managed to get a nap in on the way to rainbow mountain. Overall, everything was great, and I highly recommend this tour.

Had an amazing experience - Amazing experience from start to finish! Our guides were so helpful and patient every step of the way. Everything was very well organized, communication was excellent and the whole team was incredibly kind and professional. Starts super early 3am pickup, ensured we were the first ones to the mountain. The food was great, buffet breakfast was included, along with lunch after the hike, which was much appreciated after such a long day. The views were absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Great tour - Despite the early 3:00 AM pickup, the experience was absolutely worth it. My Rainbow Mountain tour from Cusco was easily one of the most unforgettable highlights of my trip to Peru. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. Along the way, we saw the stunning Andes, herds of alpacas, and finally the amazing colors of Rainbow Mountain. The food was the best I’ve had on a tour and the bus was really spacious and comfortable. Paolo and Jeremy were very helpful and friendly and provided great insights and details throughout the trip. Worth every penny!

The views were absolutely incredible. - : One of the best tours we had in Cusco! Our tour guide, Andre, was friendly, helpful, and encouraging throughout the hike. He took amazing pictures for us and kept everyone's spirits up during the most challenging parts of the trek. His knowledge of the local history, the geology behind the mountain's stunning colours added so much depth to the hike. We were one of the first groups to get to the overview point. The mountain can extremely busy and crowded if you don't start early. This was such an incredible experience and I definitely recommend to anyone who is debating this experience.

A memorable experience with Paolo. - Had a wonderful experience on the Rainbow Mountain trek with Paolo, our guide. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and Paolo was an excellent guide throughout the journey. He was knowledgable, motivating, and always attentive to the group. Everything was well organized, making the expereince smooth and enjoyable.

100% worth it - It was a really really wonderful tour with our guides Andre and Jeremy. Hiking of the Rainbow Mountain Was spectacular with marvellous, breathtaking views. We were the first group on the mountain and there was barely anyone else there. The tour guides were so helpful along the way, checking in on how everyone was feeling, answer any questions, and take pictures of the group! Whatever they’re being paid, they deserve at least double!

Incredible colors - A great tour, a very professional team, loads of fun and solid value for money. My friend and I really enjoyed our day trip! It was one of the best things we have done. Alex our guide was fantastic! He was excellent, knowledgeable, supported us in the unaccustomed altitude in a subtle and encouraging way, stopping to tell stories of the people or the land allowing us to catch our breath. The breakfast and lunch buffet were included in the price so all in all this day trip was really not expensive. The weather was fantastic and I enjoyed the time at the mountain . 10/10 thank you for an amazing day!!

Unforgettable experience - The tour is really great. Climbing the mountain was not easy , but our guide Edwin was very attentive to each participant of the group. The transportation was reliable, the breakfast and lunch were excellent, and the schedule was perfectly planned so we could enjoy the breathtaking views without feeling rushed.The Mountain and the whole view was totally worth it.

Fantastic Tour - Tour was amazing from start to an end. The pick up was punctual and the bus service was very comfy. Although the trip starts very early, it really is worth it to avoid the crowds. The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, colorful mountains and the hike offered stunning, panoramic views at every turn. Our guide Saul was amazing, he had great energy and made sure everyone was coping ok with the altitude and kept everyone in good spirits. On the way back we had a great buffet lunch with plenty of vegetarian options. The food was high quality, delicious, and well-prepared. So glad we did it !
