Cusco - The journey begins early from Cusco, between 6:20 and 6:50 A.M., as we set off to explore the Sacred Valley. The fresh morning air and clouds over the terraces create a picturesque start. Throughout the day, our guide will delve into the history and cultural importance of each location, offering ample opportunities for photography and to appreciate the stunning landscapes.

Chinchero - Our initial stop is Chinchero, situated at 3,762 meters (12,352 ft). Here, we visit the Textile Interpretation Center to observe local artisans weaving alpaca wool. Guests are invited to try spinning wool themselves, experiencing traditional methods firsthand. A walk through the village and its colonial church showcases the town’s architecture and local traditions.

Moray - We then proceed to Moray, located at 3,500 meters (11,483 ft). The circular terraces here demonstrate how the Incas experimented with crops and microclimates. As you walk among the terraces, you’ll feel the temperature variations at each level, while the guide explains the ingenious Inca agricultural techniques.

Maras - In the afternoon, we explore Maras, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, and Pisaq. At Maras, discover thousands of traditional salt pools and learn about centuries-old salt harvesting methods. Lunch is provided in Urubamba with a buffet selection. Ollantaytambo and Pisaq offer archaeological insights, breathtaking views, and photo opportunities.

Ausangate ATV Adventure

Cusco - Departing from Cusco at 4:00 A.M., we head to Hanchipacha. The sunrise lights up the peaks and valleys, while the crisp Andean air invigorates your senses. Our guide will outline the route and provide crucial safety instructions.

At Hanchipacha, enjoy a buffet breakfast featuring quinoa, bread, fresh fruits, and hot beverages. Meet local residents and listen to stories about life in the Ausangate region, fostering a deep cultural connection.

Nevado Ausangate - Following a 15-minute safety briefing and ATV practice session, we embark on a two-hour ATV ride through high trails, deep valleys, and Andean plains, encountering llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas along the way.

A 40–50 minute hike leads us to the trailhead surrounded by rocks, grasslands, and turquoise lagoons. At the Ausangate viewpoint, marvel at the stunning glaciers and colorful lakes. Capture photos, explore, and absorb the high-altitude scenery. Lunch is served at 2:00 P.M., and we return to Cusco around 5:00 P.M.
