Cusco - Pick-Up from Cusco & Breakfast in Mollepata

The journey kicks off at 4:30 am with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. Delight in a picturesque 3-hour drive to Mollepata, where a wholesome breakfast is ready for you. Following breakfast, continue by transport to Challacancha (3,380 m / 11,090 ft), the official starting point of your trek.

SORAYPAMPA - Start of the Trek to Soraypampa Eco-Camp

Embark on a gentle 2-hour hike through the stunning Mollepata and Challacancha valleys. Along the route, enjoy expansive mountain vistas, ancient water channels, and open Andean landscapes. Arrive at Soraypampa Camp (3,900 m / 12,800 ft) around 1:00 pm, where your luxury dome and a freshly prepared lunch await.

Humantay Lake - Ascent to the Stunning Humantay Lake

After lunch and a brief rest, begin the 1.5-hour hike to the Humantay Lagoon (4,220 m / 13,850 ft). At the summit, you’ll be greeted by a breathtaking view: turquoise waters framed by the towering, snow-capped peak of Humantay Mountain. Enjoy time for photos, views, and a connection with nature.

SORAYPAMPA - Return to Camp, Tea Time & Overnight in Luxury Domes

Descend back to Soraypampa and arrive at camp around 6:00 pm. Unwind with a warm tea service, followed by a delicious dinner. Spend the night in your comfortably heated luxury domes, surrounded by one of the most impressive valleys in the Andes.

Leave the camp and drive back through Mollepata’s landscapes until reaching Cusco in the late afternoon—concluding your unforgettable 2-day luxury trek.
