A staircase of 156 steps leads to the top of Thuy Son, the only Marble Mountain open to visitors, offering a panoramic view of the area and the other marble mountains. Visitors can explore numerous grottoes, such as Huyen Khong and Tang Chon, along with many Hindu and Buddhist sanctuaries, including the temples of Tam Thai, Tu Tam, and Linh Ung, as well as the Pho Dong pagoda. These sanctuaries are adorned with statues and reliefs depicting religious scenes carved from marble.
• Linh Ung Pagoda - Residents of the Son Tra Peninsula recall that during the reign of King Minh Mang (Nguyen Dynasty, 19th century), a Buddha statue mysteriously appeared on a sandbank. Seeing this as a good omen, the locals built a shrine for worship, leading to regional stability and peaceful fishing. The sandbank, where the Buddha statue was found, was named Bai But (meaning Buddha land on earth) and is the site of the current Linh Ung Pagoda.
