- The Marble Mountains - The tour begins in the morning when the guide picks up participants from the hotel. The first stop is Marble Mountain, also known as Ngu Hanh Son, a cluster of five hills composed of limestone and marble, resembling five fingers near the sea. The site features numerous caves, caverns, pagodas, many stairs, and two breathtaking viewpoints. It is also home to several Buddhist sanctuaries and Hindu grottoes, which are popular places of worship for the local community. At the base of the mountains lies a traditional marble fine art village, over 300 years old, where visitors can admire the skilled craftsmen, their creativity, and their uniquely beautiful works. After bidding farewell to the Marble Mountains, the tour returns to a local family for a Vietnamese lunch.
Following lunch, the tour proceeds to Am Phu Cave (the Hell Cave), where participants will learn about many fascinating Buddhist philosophies. The Am Phu Cave offers a harmonious blend of folklore and Buddhism’s valuable philosophy of humanity.
- Son Tra Peninsula - The tour continues with a return to the bus to explore Monkey Mountain, where participants can enjoy a panoramic view of Da Nang from a high vantage point. At Monkey Mountain, visitors will explore Linh Ung Pagoda, one of the largest pagodas in Da Nang City, and see the tallest Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (Lady Buddha) statue in Vietnam, standing at 67 meters. There is ample time for photography and relaxation in this beautiful area, and with some luck, many monkeys can be seen around the pagoda.
The tour concludes with a transfer back to the hotel in Hoi An and Da Nang.

Fascinating sites but poor guide - The Marble Mountain was amazing and our guide initially provided good information regarding the history and caves. However, he gave us absolutely no cultural or historical information when we got to Monkey Mountain. At lunch, the guide did not describe any of the dishes. The sites are definitely worth seeing, but I would recommend a different guide as ours did not provide nearly enough information.

Disappointing guide - We only had information about the trip from the brochure at the hotel that enrolled us.
We were picked up dropwise and were only 6 in total. The guide told us about things everyone knew when they chose Vietnam as their destination. Visits were in detail in poor, inconsistent English told about Buddhism and all that it means for Vietnamese. None of the guests could follow his attempt to explain. We were promised in the brochure to get a local meal and be involved in cooking. We got a bowl of noodle soup at an ordinary street food restaurant after which he left us and the driver drove us back to the hotel in Hoi Ann. We did not see monkeys, nature or learned to make any local food. Well there were other nice guests that we could have fun with as somewhere we all sat a long time and waited for the guide. All through disappointing guided tour.
