Island of Goree - At approximately 8:30 AM, embark on a city tour of Dakar to discover this vibrant West African city, known for its lively local markets. You will also admire the impressive African Renaissance Monument, Soumbedioune Market, and art galleries before boarding for the Goree Island excursion. Enjoy a delightful lunch before visiting the Slave House Museum, exploring colonial sites, and taking a leisurely stroll around this charming island. At 4:30 PM, return to Dakar by ferry and proceed to the Pink Lake.
Tour and Visit of the Pink Lake and Bandia Park
Reserve De Bandia - In the morning, take a 4WD vehicle and drive between dunes and the ocean. The salt lake will captivate you with its mauve hues, changing throughout the day. Circle the lake, visit a Peulh village, and stop at the salt collection points, then enjoy an unforgettable swim in the lake, where its properties allow you to float effortlessly. After lunch, depart for the Bandia Animal Sanctuary. In the reserve, immerse yourself in the African savannah, surrounded by its characteristic trees and shrubs.
