Named after Mount Putuo, a renowned Buddhist sacred site, it houses a small yet elegant temple dedicated to Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion.

Spanning only a few dozen square meters, Xiao Putuo features a rocky outcrop with the temple perched atop, surrounded by clear blue waters. Originally constructed during the Ming Dynasty, the temple draws both pilgrims and tourists who come to seek blessings and enjoy the tranquil beauty of Erhai Lake. Visitors often take a brief boat ride to reach the islet, where they can appreciate its serene atmosphere, ancient architecture, and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and lake.

• Xizhou Ancient Town - Xizhou Ancient Town is located approximately 18 kilometers north of Dali Old Town, on the western shore of Erhai Lake in Yunnan Province, China. Historically, it served as a significant commercial hub along the ancient Tea Horse Road and is recognized as a cultural heartland of the Bai ethnic community.

The town is renowned for its well-preserved Bai architecture, featuring traditional residential courtyards with intricate wooden carvings, marble embellishments, and distinctive horse-head walls. Many of these homes were constructed during the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China period, showcasing both Bai and Western architectural influences due to historical trade and returning overseas merchants.

• Chongsheng Three Pagodas - The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple are a symbolic ensemble located near the old town of Dali, Yunnan Province, China. Erected during the Tang and early Song dynasties (9th–10th centuries), these pagodas form an equilateral triangle at the eastern base of Cangshan Mountain and offer majestic views overlooking Erhai Lake.
