Highly recommend - Loved this experience! They pickup us up right out of the gate. The driver Mariano was there to show us where to go each step. We hired one of the photographers to follow us during the excursion for 75.00 and they did an awesome job and had us laughing the whole time. The waterfalls were cold. My 9 year old was shivering. Our driver was there once we finished and showed us where to eat. We highly recommend and we felt very safe not doing with the cruise ship.

Fabulous! - This is a great experience. There's a decent hike up. The guides are great. The water is cool. But its worth it.

Must try the zip and dip! - This was so fun! Zip and dip!! We had a great time. Samuel our host and Papito our trail guide was great. We learned a lot about the history and was able to sample local cuisine. The salsa was spicy!

So much better then gong through the cruse ship - Going through Edwin Tours was so much better then if we booked with the cruise ship. Our group is a total of 7 people and despite this being one of the most popular activities it felt private. The Ships tours had over 20 people to a group and they were just being hurded and rushed like cattle. The photo package was very worth it for us. They give you a dedicated photographer and you don't have to worry about the pictures, you can just be in the moment

This was a great excursion - Our driver Nigel was fantastic. He followed us to our tour excursion drop point and kept us informed and stayed with us at each point to make sure we were being taken care of and ensure we knew where to go next. The ziplines were so fun. My husband has been wanting to do this for years and we finally did and these did not disappoint. The lunch was great and the waterfalls were beautiful. If we return to the area, we will definitely be back.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE - We had an amazing experience with Edwin Tours and I cannot recommend them enough.
When we got off the ship, we had to walk all the way down the pier to the very end, and that is where his team was waiting. We asked a couple of people just to be sure, and they pointed us right to them. Everything felt organized right from the start. They had us wait in a van until our driver, Carlos, arrived with a beautiful, comfortable SUV. From that moment on, it felt like a fully private tour.
We had booked the zip lining and waterfall tour, but the drive there was just as enjoyable. Carlos was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and shared so many interesting stories and insights along the way. He even let us make a quick stop at a local street stand for fresh fruit, and honestly, they were the best mangoes I have ever had in my life.
At the excursion, we ended up in the same group as people who had booked directly through the cruise ship. We had the exact same experience, lunch was included in our tour, and we saved at least $30 per person. Such great value.
Carlos waited for us the entire time while we did the excursion. On the way back, he took us on a beautiful scenic drive and even did a small detour through town so we could see more of the local area. It really felt like more than just transportation, it felt like a personal tour.
Edwin Tours was professional, friendly, and so well organized. Ask for Carlos if you can. He truly made our day unforgettable.

One last time to act like a kid - One last time to act like a kid
We were met and driven to the site. Our driver stayed and handled us off safely and awaited our return. Bring 65 & 67 yrs old we opted to not do the zip lining since we climbed so much and didn’t want to risk too much exertion. We did fine but we are in better than average shape. Lots of steep climbing and we are flat landers. The guides ensured we were hydrated and had frequent rests with safety briefings. Water levels were low so we only did 3 rock slides and one high jump. All refreshing.

Book this now! You won't regret it! - The experience was AMAZING! I cannot recommend this experience enough. Just like another reviewer mentioned, we felt very safe the entire time. Edwin Tours just transports you back and forth. Another company does the zip lining/waterfall tour. But we felt safe and honestly had one of the best experiences of our lives. You HAVE to do this if you go to the Dominican Republic!

You can trust Edwin - Anxious abour fraud and unscrupulousness i contacted Ewdin who was prompt to reply and kept in communication. The day before the tour he again communicated with me confirming the schedule of the event. Everything went as planned without any hitch. In fact his partner, Virjilio, was professional spoke enough English to allow the rest of our group to understand what was going on. He allowed us to extend thebtourbto include a tour to City. We enjoyed his company and reliability. Edwin is operating a good company and from my perspective can be trusted with anything you want done in the area.
