Golden Temple of Dambulla - The Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as The Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in the central part of Sri Lanka. Dambulla boasts 80 caves, some of which are used by monks for meditation. The temple features five distinct caves housing 153 magnificent Buddha statues, three statues of Sri Lankan monarchs, and four Hindu deities.

Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - Begin the morning with a climb up Sigiriya.

Sigiriya is situated in Sri Lanka’s Central Province, near Dambulla. It is one of Sri Lanka’s most treasured historical monuments, featuring a fortress complex of a ruined palace and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is likely the most visited tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. The moat, a notable feature of the fortress, and the frescoes are particularly captivating. The mirror wall is another highlight. Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - In the morning, visit the Temple of the Tooth to witness the Thevava ceremony at 9:30 am.

Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple Of The Sacred Tooth Relic) is a Buddhist temple in Kandy, Sri Lanka, located within the Royal Palace Complex of the ancient Kingdom of Kandy. The relic has played a significant role in local politics, as it is believed that whoever possesses the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy, the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, primarily due to the temple. The Temple of the Tooth is considered one of the holiest shrines in the Buddhist world.

Upon completion, proceed to Peradeniya train station to enjoy a train ride to Nuwara Eliya.
