Mole National Park - Mole National Park is Ghana’s first Wildlife Protected Area and stands as the largest and most esteemed wildlife refuge in the country, covering 4,849 square kilometers. The park boasts a rich diversity of flora and fauna and is renowned for its elephants. Notable species include Elephant, Buffalo, Western Hartebeest, Roan Antelope, Kob, Waterbuck, Red Flanked Duiker, Oribi, and Reedbuck. The Leopard, Hyena, and Lion are significant large carnivores residing in the reserve. The forests also shelter endangered species such as the Yellow-backed Duiker and Black and White Colobus Monkey.
