That's Ok - We had a small incident with the driver who wanted to take a longer route. We discussed it with the manager and it was resolved satisfactorily. We recommend it.

ExcellentTour to Dendera with Prof. Abdullah Fouad and Driver Ehab - I recently visited the Temple of Dendera with my father, and the experience exceeded all expectations thanks to our amazing driver, Ehab, and our outstanding guide, Prof. Abdullah Fouad. The tour started punctually at 9:00 a.m. in Luxor, where both Ehab and Prof. Fouad welcomed us in the hotel lobby. The drive to Dendera (about 1–1.5 hours) was already a highlight: the professor shared fascinating insights about the region, the development of new cities such as New Luxor, and the seasonal crops that now cover areas that used to be desert. His passion for his hometown and for Egypt was evident throughout the journey. At the Dendera complex, Prof. Fouad guided us through the temple with exceptional clarity and enthusiasm. He explained the historical evolution of the site, translated inscriptions and reliefs, and answered every question with expertise and kindness. Visiting Dendera with him transformed a beautiful place into an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Luxor. The professionalism of Ehab and the depth of knowledge of Prof. Abdullah Fouad made this one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. A must-do!

Discovering Dendera: History, Beauty, and a Few Surprises - If you drive about 37 miles north of Luxor West Bank, you’ll hit Dendera, and let me tell you, this place is wild. The history goes way back to pre-dynastic times, with connections to Khufu and Pepi I from the 5th Dynasty. But most of what you see now was built later, tied to Hathor, Isis, Cleopatra, and even Caesarion. Dendera was buried for centuries until it got restored in the 19th century, and now it’s just showing off. The temple is insane, there’s a massive columned entrance hall, open courts, a sacred lake, and so much detail everywhere. The walls are covered in these crazy detailed carvings of gods and scenes from back in the day. It’s seriously impressive. But here’s the thing, when I went, only about half the temple was open because some parts were under restoration. Plus, a heads-up, some of the guards there try to charge extra to let you into “closed” areas, which felt a bit scammy. Definitely one of those “ugh” moments that takes away from the experience. That said, Dendera is 100% worth visiting. The history, the art, the architecture, it’s all next level. Just watch out for the sketchy stuff, enjoy the vibe, and soak it all in!

Dendera Temple: Where History Comes to Life - Dendera Temple is such a cool spot to check out! The walls are covered in the most amazing carvings and inscriptions. It’s like stepping into an ancient storybook. Everywhere you look, there’s something interesting, and it’s all so well-preserved it feels like history just comes to life. Outside the temple, there’s this fun little god, Bes. He’s got this quirky human-lion look and was all about protecting kids and bringing good vibes with music and dance. He’s definitely one of the more unique gods and his energy just adds a playful touch to the whole place. Inside, the temple tells the story of Osiris, which is all about life, death, and rebirth. It’s such a powerful theme and you can feel how connected it is to nature and renewal. The artwork is stunning and full of symbolism, there’s so much to take in. The outer walls have Cleopatra VII and her son Caesarion carved into them. It’s wild to think Cleopatra wasn’t even Egyptian (she was Macedonian) but totally embraced the culture. Seeing how she blended Egyptian and Roman influences is just so cool and gives the temple this unique vibe. Honestly, Dendera Temple isn’t just another historical site, it’s an experience. If you’re into history, mythology, or just cool places, this one’s a no-brainer. Definitely worth the trip!

Best Day Ever at Dendera - Man, today was something else. We went to the Temple of Dendera, about an hour north of Luxor, and let me tell you, the whole trip was a vibe. Our driver Abdullah even stopped to grab us fresh sugar cane juice, straight up perfection. It was one of those little moments that just hit different you know? Then we got to the temple and wow, it’s massive. Like 23 meters high massive. You stand there and it feels like you’ve been dropped into another world. The walls are still rocking these vibrant colors like the ancient Egyptians just painted them yesterday. Three hours zipped by because every corner of this place has something that makes you stop and go how did they even do this? Oh and the zodiac? Mindblowing. It’s not just cool to look at, it’s this crazy connection to how ancient Egypt shaped what we know about the stars today. Honestly, if you’re even remotely near this place you’ve gotta go. It’s worth every single mile and it’s the kind of spot that leaves you in awe just soaking it all in.
