The wonderful Dendera Temple Luxor - On our first day in Egypt we were whisked away to the temple of Dendera, by a very skillful taxi driver. What a fantastic experience, enhanced even further by our wonderful guide Mansuor. He was funny and incredibly knowledgeable; answering all our questions with great aplomb. He really brought ancient Egypt to life in a fascinating way. If the rest of our trip matches up to this experience we are in for a fabulous holiday. Thank you Mansuor for kicking off our Egyptian adventure in a truly unforgettable way.

Excellent Guide Mena Gamil and Absolutely Beautiful Temple - Excellent Tour! The guide Mena Gamil was exceptional , full of knowledge about the whole of Egypt. He also assisted me in proposing to my now fiancé with lots of advice on the most beautiful spots in Dandara Temple. I would definitely recommend this tour.

How to have a serene morning in the temple of Hathor - Had a great early morning trip and a magical experiences at the beautiful Temple of Hathor! We had booked for 8am but Mansuor suggested to go earlier and avoid the tourists! The 630sm start was perfect, indeed! We were one of the first before the busses arrived and it felt very special. The trip to get there takes ca 1h one way but that did not feel long as we were chatting away with Mansuor. He showed us all the key aspects and notable information of the temple . Highly recommended to book the crypt for a fee of 100 EGP. A quite magical small space. The early start meant we were back at 1030am and could relax in the pm by our hotel pool.
Mansuor made the trip feel effortless and he gave us the space to explore by ourselves. Thank you so much Mansuor.

Dendara Temple - It was a beautiful temple....peaceful and so very interesting. A highlight! Mansuor was an excellet guide with strong knowledge of the temple, very good English, polite and helpful. A lovely day.

Dendera Temple Worth Every Minute - We booked a driver-only tour to Dendera. Our driver was polite, but at times seemed a bit unsure on the road and spoke limited English, so we weren’t always certain what was happening. He kept reassuring us "no problems", but we didn’t feel completely relaxed — and honestly, if I hadn’t been traveling with my husband that day, being alone as a woman would have felt stressful.
Dendera Temple itself was absolutely worth the trip. We spent almost 3 hours exploring, and you really do need that much time — the complex is full of beautiful wall carvings, open‑air artefacts, and smaller structures. Definitely get the roof ticket!

Hathor Temple is the best but the driver smokes in the car - Hathor Temple was truly the best.
It was the best of my trips to Luxor this time. The murals and ceiling paintings are well-preserved and beautiful, and the design is really interesting. It's the best ruins I've ever seen! I think you can enjoy it even more by studying the Egyptian gods.
The underground bulb mural is extra. It is better to buy tickets at the first ticket office. It's inconvenient to buy locally only from a smartphone.
The drivers were the worst on this tour. Smoking in a car while driving. When I tell him to stop, he says try! and keeps smoking.
Why can't I stand it when it's an hour each way? He even insisted on going to the restaurant he introduced, but he refused. I didn't want to tip him anymore, but when I gave him a small tip, he told me to drop him off at the ATM because he wasn't enough. When he refused that, he took the liberty of ordering a sandwich at our restaurant. Fortunately, the restaurant asked us if we would pay for the driver's sandwich, so we declined. I was really the worst and worst driver to go out of my way to sign up for a TripAdvisor tour to stay out of trouble.
