Dar es Salaam - Mikumi National Park

Mikumi National Park - Guests will be picked up early in the morning from a designated location in Dar es Salaam and will set off for Mikumi National Park. The journey to the park will take approximately 6-7 hours. Upon arrival, visitors will embark on a morning game drive. Mikumi is home to a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, hyenas, buffalo, wildebeest, eland, hartebeest, crocodiles, lizards, and many other species. The park is also a haven for bird enthusiasts, with over 300 bird species recorded.

Uluguru Mountains - The Uluguru Mountains, located in eastern Tanzania, are named after the Luguru tribe. The central part of the Uluguru Mountains features a ridge that runs approximately north-south, reaching an altitude of 2,630 meters (8,600 ft) at its peak. The main Uluguru range is bordered by 50 villages, with a population of over 151,000 people living in the mountain area, often at higher densities near the forest boundary.

Game Drive at Mikumi and Return to Dar es Salaam

Mikumi National Park - Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel, pack your luggage, and re-enter the park for a morning game drive. This drive is particularly thrilling as the animals are more active, offering a great chance to spot big cats. After the morning adventure, depart the park and begin the journey back to Dar es Salaam. A hot lunch will be provided at a restaurant in Morogoro or Msolwa. Arrive at Dar es Salaam airport in the late evening, where guests will be dropped off at either the airport or a hotel of their choice.
