Stunning safari to Tanzania - Our Udzungwa Safari, Nyerere National Park, and Mkomazi adventure with my girlfriend Angeline was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, this journey took us through some of Tanzania’s most stunning and remote landscapes, making it a trip we’ll never forget. We began our journey in Udzungwa Mountains National Park, which was a true hidden gem. The lush forests, vibrant waterfalls, and diverse wildlife made for a perfect start to our safari. Hiking through the park to reach the waterfalls was an experience of its own—each step we took led us deeper into nature’s beauty, with breathtaking views at every turn. We also encountered various species of monkeys, birds, and even some elusive forest creatures, making the hike even more rewarding. Next, we ventured to Nyerere National Park, formerly known as Selous Game Reserve. This vast wilderness left us in awe. The sheer size of the park and the variety of wildlife we encountered was amazing. We saw herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, and buffaloes roaming freely in their natural habitat. The boat safaris on the Rufiji River were a highlight—cruising through the calm waters, we saw hippos and crocodiles, along with an abundance of birdlife. Nyerere gave us a truly authentic, untamed safari experience. Finally, we explored Mkomazi National Park, a lesser-known but equally stunning destination. The park’s remote location and peaceful atmosphere made it feel like we had the entire wilderness to ourselves. We got the chance to spot the rare African wild dogs and observe the thriving populations of elephants and giraffes in the park’s varied habitats. The blend of savannah, mountains, and wetlands created the perfect environment for both wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Throughout the entire trip, Migration Venture Africa provided impeccable service. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, ensuring we didn’t miss a single moment of magic in these parks. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to explore Tanzania’s wild beauty together. This adventure with Angeline will forever hold a special place in our hearts. The combination of thrilling wildlife sightings, stunning landscapes, and the deep connection to nature made this safari an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Migration Venture Africa, for making it all possible!

Selous Is Magical - We ought to have done this tour longtime ago but we really did not know that there are other fantastic areas to visit in Tanzania. Selous proved to be a hidden gem that's off the beaten path away from the crowds. From the moment we landed in Tanzania we found that Amos had taken care of all the logistics starting with the prompt airport pickup, the nice hotel in Dar and the safari to Selous. We opted to go by road to Selous and its rather a long drive through the countryside dotted with few settlements along the way. Our guide James drove the 4x4 vehicle carefully even past the bitumen section leading to the expansive park. Selous is really beautiful and well conserved with a mix of marshes, woodlands, grasslands and river line forests. The mix of wild animals and birds were accessible by land and also by boat. We also enjoyed an afternoon fishing in Rufiji River and had a decent catch. The lodge in Selous was excellent. It was along the Rufiji River and we could actually see the hippos from our room. In a nutshell our experience in Selous, albeit short proved to be wonderful and unforgettable. The number of animals that we saw with James is mindboggling and the park is really unspoilt. We will be returning to Selous soon
