Selous Game Reserve - Day 1: Transfer to Selous Game Reserve
The journey begins with an early morning pick-up from Dar at approximately 05:30 hours, heading towards Selous Game Reserve. Upon arrival, guests will check into their accommodation, enjoy lunch, and later embark on a boat safari on the Rufiji River around 15:00 hours.
Game Drives in Selous Game Reserve Enroute to Mikumi
Selous Game Reserve - This day is dedicated to exploring the vast wilderness of Selous Game Reserve. Departing early in the morning with packed breakfast and lunch, guests will enjoy game drives showcasing various attractions within the reserve.
The journey continues with a drive towards Mikumi town via Kisaki village and Morogoro town. Arrival in Mikumi is expected in the evening, with check-in at Camp Bastian for dinner and an overnight stay.
FULL DAY MIKUMI
Mikumi National Park - Enjoy a full-day game drive in Mikumi or opt for two half-day game drives. The safari offers sightings of a diverse range of bird species, along with numerous giraffes, buffalo, and elephants. With some luck, lions, leopards, and African wild dogs may also be spotted. Commonly seen animals include zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland, and antelope. Several observation towers provide panoramic views of the park.
BREAKFAST AND DRIVE BACK TO DAR ES SALAAM
Mikumi National Park - After waking up and enjoying breakfast, guests will meet with a professional safari guide for the drive back to Dar es Salaam for drop-off.
