The journey begins with an early departure from the designated pick-up location in Dar es Salaam, heading to the train station for the 6:00 a.m. train. Upon reaching Morogoro town at 7:40 a.m., the driver will be waiting to take the group to Mikumi Park, a journey of approximately one hour and thirty minutes.

Arrival at the park gate is expected around 10:00 a.m., where the adventure continues with a game drive until noon, followed by a break for a hot lunch. After lunch, the game drive resumes. Mikumi is renowned for its big cats, with other carnivores frequently spotted. It is one of Tanzania’s National Parks that is accessible year-round.

Following the thrilling safari game drive, the group will return to Morogoro train station for the evening train back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, transportation will be provided back to the initial meeting point, concluding the tour.
