Learned so much! - We learned so much on this tour! Our guide was Rukube who really helped us understand the places that we visited and the history of Dar es Salaam and Tanzania in general. We took tuk tuks to get to each of the locations and walked around which was a unique experience. There was so much happening at both the markets that we visited but our tour guide always ensured that we felt safe and understood what was going on. Highly recommend especially for those with only a short time in the city.

Exceeded expectations - One of the best tour guides I have had a tour with in Africa. Rukube Mohamed spoke interestingly from a historical, political, and cultural side. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Very interesting to see the structure and organizational side of the wet & dry fish markets.

Great tour of Dar es Salaam - Neema was a great guide, navigating to different locations around the city and explaining the historical and present day information about everything we saw. She really wanted to show the everyday life of Tanzanians. Everything was included (tuktuk between destinations, a fresh coconut in the market, etc). Neema also organized an additional tour for me the following day around more sights that I wanted to see. Thank you Neema! I felt very comfortable as a female traveler by myself.

Real life of Tanzania - It was a great experience after safari tour and tourists things I did for two wks. Real life of Tanzania. I loved the hustling vibe and energy of honest humble people working and living life. My guide was educated, knowledgeable and kind. Fish market auctioning was interesting to see just like in Japan fish market. I had delicious fried fish and coconut to drink during this trip at no charge. Everything market was also great. He will explain a lot of things about history and important landmark in city. Also customize to what you are interested.
