Beautiful Day at Kakadu - We went on this tour which was organized by Autopia Tours and the tour driver/guide was Alex. Alex was very friendly and knowledgeable about Kakdu and the aboriginal history. He was driving and also giving commentary at the same time which was not easy. The tour was about 13 hours and well organized, gave us plenty of time for breaks. We did the Fogg Dam and loved it. It was the end of wet season and plenty of water lilies/lotus. We saw some birds/animals and aboriginal rock art. There was some walking up the hill but it's well worth to see the rock forms and aboriginal art. Alex stopped the bus on the way for photos too. The bus air con was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

Incredible Kakadu day with crocs, culture & great storytelling - This tour was a fantastic way to experience Kakadu in a single day. The Jumping Crocodile Cruise was exciting—we saw several crocs up close (mostly females, so not huge), and it was a unique start to the day. Alex, our guide, was highly entertaining and incredibly patient, answering everyone’s questions and keeping us engaged from start to finish. The Aboriginal rock art was a real highlight—so detailed and fascinating, and Alex shared the stories behind them with genuine respect and cultural insight, which made the experience really meaningful. It’s a long day, but well worth it if you want a powerful glimpse into Kakadu’s beauty and heritage.

Thank you for this great experience - We were with our tour guide, Dani, today. The drive to Kakadu Park is very long, but it's worth it in the end. The tour guide, thanks to her personal background, has in-depth and personal knowledge of all the park's questions. We especially enjoyed her knowledge of the Aboriginal people, whose habitat she showed us.

Plenty to see - We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The wet season was still going and added to the day. Our tour guide gave very helpful information and did her best to ensure we had an enjoyable day. The Fogg dam is well worth visiting, a worthy alternative to seeing the jumping crocodiles. This suited us. The tour guide knew where and when the wildlife were likely to appear and gave time to take photographs as much as was possible or practical. The length of day, while long (12 hours from start to finish), was manageable. The tour guide kept us informed about the day's program. The rock art is a must see. The weather closed in on us as we walking back to the bus from the last art site, which made photography of the scenery difficult - torrential rain came at that moment, drenching everyone. You might want to consider the trade off about things to carry for the rock art part of the day during the wet season - staying fully dry or only carry essentials: it is hot and humid. All in all, a great day out.

A Well-Guided Kakadu and Crocodile Cruise Experience - I joined this tour on April 19, 2025, and Rick and Aaron were our guides for the day (I hope I got their names right! 😊). Both Rick and Aaron were fantastic—extremely knowledgeable and genuinely entertaining. They did a great job of keeping the group engaged and making the day enjoyable from start to finish. I do have a couple of small suggestions for improvement: 1. It would have been nice to stop briefly at Fogg Dam for a few minutes to take photos of the birds in the wider section of the dam road. That said, I completely understand if it’s not feasible due to safety (i.e saltwater crocodiles). 2. It might be worthwhile to consider offering an alternative version of the Kakadu tour—one that skips the jumping crocodile cruise and Fogg Dam, and instead includes a wetland cruise along with a visit to Nourlangie Rock. This could offer a different perspective for those more interested in Kakadu’s landscapes and wildlife. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the excitement of the jumping crocodile cruise and get a glimpse of the Kakadu region as well.

Mixed - Crocodile experience excellent .Very knowledgeable skipper and worth the money. A very long drive and seeing the paintings at 2 pm not ideal .You need to consider the itinery .Overall , staff very helpful though overall knowledge could be better, eg no idea about rock formation ,way locals lived etc .
