Katherine Gorge and Edith Falls - This was a great day but quite long. Beautiful scenery cruising the gorge. The swim at Edith Falls was a welcome relief on a hot day. The coach on this tour was not as comfortable as the other tour we did 2 days later but both were the same type of coach so not sure why. Tour guide (young Spanish man, I have forgotten his name)did a great job especially with one traveller that had a medical episode, very compassionate ensuring he was comfortable and ok. A credit to him.

Katherine gorge is a must see ancient place - Stunning day trip and amazing cruise through Katherine Gorge which is an ancient wonderland. You can feel the age of the place- the guide was very informative about how the landscape was formed and the indigenous history of the area. Highly recommended.

Edith Falls and Nitmiluk tour with Autopia - Tim our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable on the history of the area, including indigenous history and the natural history of the plants and animals of the area also. Plenty of rest stops. Opportunity to swim at the falls. Top Didj Art Gallery was great. Local tour guide for Nitmiluk gorge was also excellent. Good to have locals providing the tour. Well worth it.

A VERY long day…built for memories. - This is a very long day tour. 12 hours on the road with a two hour scenic boat cruise through the gorge is a very long day. Chris our driver was very professional in his interactions with his 12 tour members, but being mindful of his long, planned out day, it all went very well. Time is allowed for your brought along lunch at a shady spot by a gallery. Stopping at Edith Falls with an optional swim/bush walk and calling in at the Adelaide River pub all made for a memorable if tiring day. The MINI-BUS. Needs more comfy seats. The non-reclining seats are hard to endure over a long distance, however the USB ports were welcome. Chris had a good supply of drinking water to cater for all weathers.

Katherine Gorge, Edith Falls - This tour felt incredibly rushed from start to finish. We were meant to have 60 minutes for breakfast but were only given 10, with the guide insisting that no one order coffee because it would take too long. When we arrived at Katherine Gorge, the boat tour itself was enjoyable, informative, and the scenery was stunning. However, the rushed pace continued—during lunch, we were told to grab our food and eat it on the bus so we could keep moving. We then stopped at an art gallery, which was interesting to walk through, but the prices were extremely high and far from affordable for the average traveller. At Edith Falls, we were told we had two hours, but in reality, it was a quick 20-minute hike to the swimming area, followed by just 20 minutes in the water before being rushed back down the track. Dinner was no different—only 10 minutes to eat before being hurried back onto the bus. Speaking of the bus, it was uncomfortable for such a long day, with no onboard toilet. Although the tour guide was kind and tried their best, their strong Spanish accent made it difficult to understand most of the commentary. Overall, the constant rushing severely impacted the experience. It felt like we were constantly being herded from one place to the next without time to properly enjoy or appreciate the destinations. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this tour.
