Kaohsiung from a local perspective - Richard was a fine tour guide. His Kaohsiung was beautiful and despite some language challenges, we felt touched by some uniquely personal experiences. Thanks for Lotus Lake, the glass dome subway station, the observatory lookout, ice cream, the old warehouse district turned art scene, and sunset beach. We would do it all over again!

Good tour away from the cruise ship crowds. - Cruise timing shortened our day, but still saw most major sites. Luke took careful care of us to make it a good day.

Highly Recommend: Great Tour Guide & Photographer - Great 1-day Kaohsiung tour! This tour covered all the things we wanted to see and learn about (temples, pagodas, food). Charlie was a great knowledgeable tour guide. He started by giving us a bag of logan fruit and explained the history on why people eat them and it happens to be in season. Comfortable ride, Charlie ensured we were comfortable with the heat & humidity and would drop us off, meet us, pick us up so we stayed cool as well. Huge bonus, Charlie is also a great photographer. Overall, an amazing experience! Thank you Viator and Charlie.

Majestic and enveloping - The majesty of a unique place. Climbing the pagodas you have an unparalleled view of the lake and its surroundings.
The expression of the dragon and the tiger that seem to want to wrap you in one place out of time. Really exceptional!

Day tour with Charlie - Our guide was Charlie Lee. He was in touch prior to picking us up and communicated well in English.
We had a whole day with him as our driver/guide and he was very informative and interesting. The car was comfortable and quite new and very clean.
We drove to five main tourist spots, all must must-do stops.
Charlie looked after us very well. Nothing was a bother, and he made the day very enjoyable.

Great start in Taiwan with friendly Robin - We were a group of 4 and we asked for a comfortable 7 seater vehicle with English speaking driver . That’s exactly what we got and were not disappointed . Our driver cum guide Robin was friendly , courteous and did his best to explain the sights as best as he could . He recommended our lunch & helped us order it . The food was great . Time was well managed and never rushed , it was free and easy the whole day . Our first day in Taiwan @ Kaoshing started of well , thanks to Robin
