Too fun! - There were so many more things here other than the flamingos but was pleasantly surprised with all there was to see! The gardens were beautiful and history of the property was nice to learn about. I would definitely recommend if you're in the area!!

5 stars! - Wow! What a blast. All the cool animals and nature on display in a way that’s respectful and clearly in the animals interest. We loved it here & can’t wait to come back! The wildlife exhibit was great seeing some of these animals up close, all the birds were incredible, and they even had a sweet black cat with no eyes hanging around. The tram ride was a treat to catch a breeze after getting hot walking around, & things like the butterfly exhibit and being able to purchase feed for the flamingos was super fun. 5 stars!

Give this a go, you will not regret it - This is about a 40 minute drive from Fort Lauderdale up the 595 interstate. This was well worth the trip a great place to spend a couple of hours. Loads of different birds and helpful staff to give you more information. They even have a tram that travels round the gardens if you have mobility issues The flamingos will eat straight out of your hands if you are brave enough for that huge iguanas all over the place there’s also various birds of prey and parrots.

Good place to visit to see trees plants and wildlife - An interesting place to explore. All the animals in captivity are rescue animals. The enclosures alloqxyou to see a good view. Good information about all animals on display. Some free roaming raccoons and iguanas too. It is very hot and humid so carry water with you. Much of the site is shaded but be prepared for the sun. There is a free tram service to the more distant areas every 30 mins. We intended to get lunch. Only the snack bar seemed to exist ( I asked about a restaurant and they said this was all they had. So the website is wrong) food choice poor and very disappointing for vegetarians. My wrap was tasteless and had less than a teaspoon of hummus in it. Dreadful!

Nice experience - Nice place, good for walking, seeing various animal life here and there, flamingos were in one area near kids/ice cream so more about kids feeding selves and flamingos vs seeing flamingos roaming in the habitat. Not as described. Happy to have visited but description wasn't reality.
