~Great place to explore!~ - Spent a couple of hours here exploring the beautiful nature and multiple animals. Reminds me of a zoo/botanical garden place. Definingly worth checking out, recommended for all ages.

Wonderful, unique FL experience - This was a wonderful native Florida animal exhibit, beautiful trees/plants, butterfly garden, and history lesson. I highly recommend. It is easy to get to, easy to walk around/navigate. We went straight to the airport after our visit, which was a great activity while we "killed" time.

Great half-day trip - Great visit, site was clean and beautiful. I loved that the tram takes you through the farther side of the park and even stops so you can see the butterfly conservatory. Animals looked really happy, especially the otters.

Lovely place to explore. - Four seniors-we enjoyed the birds and gardens. Very enjoyable to walk around and the tram ride driver was interesting. Lots of places to sit and relax and take in the views. The Wray house and art gallery gave us historical background on the Flamingo Gardens.

Great place to see some wildlife - This place is beautiful and you are brought into a magical world. Although hot in the Florida heat, with all the shade from the trees it is a beautiful place to meander at your leisure. There is a cute little outside cafe on site where you can grab drinks, soda, ice cream or sandwiches and the odd hot dog. The birds are very tame and quite often hop onto your table looking for bites to eat. The peacocks stroll round right in front of you. The gardens are pretty flat and are tended to well. You can grab a short tour around the grounds which is narrated which has some stops around for you to go into, for example, the butterfly house. This leaves every 30 mins on the hour and half past from next to the cafe. How long you spend here, is up to you, but probably 1.5 to 2 hours. There is a wildlife encounter which happens at 11.30, 1.30 and 3.30 so I would time your visit around these. Everything is well signposted and there are bathrooms around the site which are clean enough for a public toilet. There are plenty of benches to stop for a rest. The birds are free to roam so if small children are inclined to chase, it may not be the place for them. I visited a few days before Christmas and so they had lights up everywhere which I'm sure are beautiful in the night. They have a separate night tour if you want to see those. It is really easy to find, and the parking is free. I think it is well worth a visit.

Pleasant but not outstanding - This was a pleasant experience but nothing outstanding. The highlight for me was the butterfly visit. It’s worth a visit if you have time and in the area.

So-so - A little boring. Not very many flamingos. Flamingo encounter was actually closed. House on property was neat. Quick little walk through. Not worth the price.
