The Dazu Rock Carvings are an extensive collection of ancient Buddhist stone carvings, dating back 800 years to the Song Dynasty. With over 10,000 statues carved into the vertical cliffside, they beautifully showcase the ancient Chinese religious art style and carving expertise. Additionally, it is a sacred site for Buddhist devotees.
This site has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999.
The excursion here lasts 2 hours. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local farm restaurant, offering fresh country cuisine.
