Good experience - I truly enjoyed the museum and factory tour. There is a free audio tour available. Take it! That way, you get more out of the museum. They explained the process of making the pottery and the history of the Delft blue. The factory tour was short but I found it interesting. You could also see the products being hand painted. There is also a well stocked shop which had various items with wide price range.

Beautiful museum about Delft Porcelain - Beautiful museum about Delft Porcelain. The museum explains the history of porcelain and also walks through a work place where currently porcelain is produced. There is a nice collection of porcelain in the museum, you can also do a workshop to make your own tile. I highly recommend this museum.

For the Royal Delft Enthusiasts - If you like looking at Delft pottery and learning about the history and production of it, it’s amazing. We left the husband and teenage son at home, and my mother and I really enjoyed it! There is a small parking lot beside the building which was very appreciated since we drove. Take a large sum of money if you plan on buying any of the signed pieces! Overall a lovely time.

Go to Delft! - I love Delft pottery and this was a real treat for me. We were there the day that all of Netherlands was celebrating King’s Day. I had made our tour reservation earlier and wrote to make certain they would be open….they responded that all would be normal though we noticed most employees usually painting and filling the workrooms were gone. There were a few there so that you could see what they do. Their work is incredible. Of course the hand-painted delft is very pricey but the factory store has lovely “printed” pieces that were more affordable and they also ship your purchases home for you. We made reservations to enjoy the tea offered in the restaurant and are so glad we did…it was delicious in a sweet garden room setting and very well priced. It was a wonderful day and we were so glad we went. We strolled around the town of Delft before catching our train back to Leiden.

A bucket list must do - Pleasant and knowledgeable guide telling the history and methods in details. Setting the master applying the design and asking questions was the highlight.

Good but not mind blowing - Good but not mind blowing. Since I have been to delft multiple times and visited other cathedrals and museums, I have decided finally to go to Royal Delft Factory-Museum. It was interesting to see the process, history, and factory where they really make things, so you can see the process. My favorite spot was the garden in that place, you can also get drinks and snacks in the cafe and sit to chill there. I loved that. Also big souvenir shop. My mom and I bought earrings, since I love accessories and buy them in every place I want to remember. But if you are coming for couple of days to the Netherlands and you are not so much into pottery, I would say, you can skip this museum. For pottery lowers it’s will be a great place to visit.

Interesting and well presented. - In Delft is either museums about painters or porcelain. We chose the latter and learned a lot about the history from informative and logical narrative boards all in English. Cafe was excellent and the ship well stocked. No our taste but seems to be doing a roaring trade. If you are in town worth catching this for some local history.

The Factory Tour was very disappointing. - We were looking forward to the Factory and Museum experience. The Museum was very informative with a wide display of pottery. It was particularly interesting to learn the history of pottery in Delft. We were very disappointed with the Factory part of the experience. There was a video to introduce you to the start of the process and one man finishing of a peace of pottery but there was no interaction between him and the visitors. We continued and came to an enclosed room where a lady was hand paining a plate. Again, there was no interaction between her and the visitors. She spent more time texting on her phone, than painting so we walked on. The factory experience was, sorry to say, very disapointing. The shop has a wide range of Delft iconic products.
