The tower features five distinct stories adorned with intricate carvings and verses from the Quran.
Humayun’s Tomb - Humayun’s Tomb, which inspired the Taj Mahal in Agra, was built in 1570 and houses the remains of the second Mughal emperor, Humayun. It was the first of its kind in India, leading to a significant period of Mughal architectural development across the country.
Lotus Temple - The Bahai Temple, commonly known as the Lotus Temple due to its lotus flower shape, is especially stunning at night when it is beautifully lit. Made of white marble, the temple belongs to the Bahai Faith, which promotes the unity of all people and religions. (*The temple is closed every Monday.)
