ISKCON Vrindavan - The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) was founded by Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in 1966. While the society’s broader goal is the overall well-being of humanity, its immediate objective is to spread the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and Vedic scriptures. This aims to foster a clear understanding in individuals’ minds, helping them lead simple, pure, and spiritual lives. ISKCON is credited with building around 6000 temples, with the first being the ISKCON Temple in Vrindavan.

Banke Bihari Temple - The Bankey Bihari Temple in Vrindavan is one of the most revered and well-known Krishna temples in India. Shri Swami Haridas manifested Bankey Bihari Ji in Nidhivan. The idol, much older, was worshipped in Nidhivan until 1863. The temple was built in 1864 with contributions from Goswamis, who then moved the idol to this temple. ‘Bankey’ means ‘bent at three places,’ and ‘Bihari’ means ‘supreme enjoyer.’ Bankey Bihari Ji is worshipped and cared for as a child. Each festival is celebrated uniquely at the temple, with the deity dressed and offered food (bhog, prasad) according to the season. The temple is adorned with lights and various flowers during festivals. There are no bells or conches in the temple, as Bankey Bihari dislikes their sound; only the chant of ‘Radha Naam’ is heard.

Dwarkadheesh Temple - Sri Dwarkadheesh Mandir is one of Mathura’s oldest and largest temples.

Mathura Ji Ka P - The Krishna Janmasthan Temple Complex in Mallapura, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India, is a group of Hindu temples built around the birthplace of the major Hindu deity Krishna. This site has held religious significance since the 6th century BC. The temples have been destroyed multiple times throughout history, most recently by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in 1670, who built an Eidgah there. In the 20th century, a new temple complex was constructed with financial support from industrialists, including the Keshavdeva temple, the Garbha Griha temple at the birthplace, and the Bhagavata Bhavan.

Prem Mandir - Shyama Shyam Dham - Prem Mandir is a Hindu temple in Vrindavan, Mathura, India, maintained by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, an international non-profit, educational, spiritual, and charitable trust. If you are not tired, you can enjoy the evening Aarti ceremony of the Yamuna River at Kesi Ghat. After the tour, return to your pre-booked hotel in Mathura for the night.

Mathura to Agra to Mathura

Radha Raman Temple - After breakfast, you will be driven to Gokul to visit Raman Reti, where it is believed that Lord Krishna played pranks with his friends and gopikas. This serene place attracts visitors with its natural beauty and deer park. The sand here is unique; it doesn’t stick to you even if you lie down. You will see many pet animals and birds, including antelopes, elephants, and emus.

Taj Mahal - Later, you will be driven to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. In Agra, you will stop for lunch at an Indian restaurant and meet your tour guide. Enjoy the sunset at the Taj Mahal before being driven back to your hotel in Mathura.

Mathura - Barsana - Delhi

Barsana Shri Radha Rani Temple - In Barsana, located on a small mountain range, tradition is alive with the famous Latthmar Holi celebration, attracting many tourists each year who participate in the festival. The main temple in Barsana is dedicated to Radha, considered the consort of Lord Krishna. After touring Barsana, you will be driven to your hotel in Delhi NCR.
