OLD DELHI - The tour of Old Delhi includes a visit to Raj Ghat, the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, and Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. The heart of Old Delhi is centered around Chandni Chowk, one of India’s oldest and busiest market areas. Exploring this vibrant area fully could take days, but a traditional cycle-rickshaw ride offers a great way to experience its lively atmosphere and diverse sights and sounds.

NEW DELHI - The comprehensive tour of New Delhi features visits to Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue Rajpath, passing by the impressive India Gate, Parliament House, and the President’s Residence, concluding with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. In the evening, enjoy the Sound and Light Show at the Red Fort, also known as ‘Lal Quilla,’ showcasing Mughal architectural brilliance. The 17th-century historical events come alive with the Son-Et-Lumiere show. The Red Fort can be accessed via the Lahore and Delhi gates, with the Lahore gate connecting to the bustling Chatta Chawk Bazaar. (Closed on Mondays). Overnight stay in Delhi.

Delhi to Shimla

Manali - In the morning, drive to Manali, a 7/8-hour journey to the “Valley of Gods,” a blend of natural splendor and rich cultural heritage. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Manali - After breakfast, embark on a full-day local sightseeing tour of Manali, including Hadimba Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings, and Vashistha Temple with its “Hot & Cold water Kund.” The evening is free for leisure, with an opportunity to explore Mall Road for shopping. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Manali.

Manali - Enjoy a full-day tour of Rohtang Pass (at own cost), where the majesty of the mountains and glaciers is at its best. Spend two hours in this snowy paradise, with options for sledging and climbing small snow hills. On the descent to Manali, stop at Rahalla Falls and Solang Valley, with their magnificent views and natural beauty. Also, visit Marhi, Ralha Falls, and Nehru Kund. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Manali to Dharamsala

Dharamsala - After breakfast, drive to Dharamshala. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Visit Baijnath, the oldest existing Shiva temple in the country, War Memorial, Kangra Art Museum, Dal Lake, McLeodganj, and St. John’s Church. Overnight at the hotel.

Khajjiar - Dalhousie, named after the British Governor-General of the 19th century, Lord Dalhousie, is surrounded by diverse vegetation, including pines, dodders, oaks, and flowering rhododendrons. Dalhousie to Amritsar

Amritsar - After breakfast, check out from Dalhousie and proceed to Amritsar by road. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and later visit the Indo-Pak Wagah Border to witness the Flag Retreat Ceremony. At Wagah, an army outpost on the Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar, the daily highlight is the “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries perform a synchronized drill, lowering their national flags. As the sun sets, nationalistic fervor rises, and lights illuminate the area, marking the end of the day with applause. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Amritsar.

Amritsar to Chandigarh

Chandigarh - After breakfast, travel to Chandigarh, a 6-hour journey. Check in at the hotel, and after freshening up, proceed for local sightseeing, including Rock Garden, Rose Garden, and Pinjore Garden. Overnight stay in Chandigarh.

Chandigarh to Delhi

New Delhi - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and travel to Delhi by road. Drop off at the airport or railway station.
