Meet at our centre and we will transport you. Note there is no on-site parking, you will need to park in one of the public car parks in Llangollen and allow sufficient time to find a parking space. Throughout the summer months, any school holidays and weekends this can take up to 1 hour.

Beautiful and relaxing paddle. - This was a fantastic activity, a relaxing paddle down the canal from near Llangollen with a final breath taking stretch across the aqueduct. We had very little canoeing experience and our guide Alfie was excellent. I would definatly recommend Activity.

Stunning views and friendly team - I was very nervous as this was my first time on a canoe but the team were so friendly and made me feel comfortable and safe. Once we were on the canal and along the viaduct I absolutely loved it. Definately would recommend and the views are stunning. *****

Amazing 🛶 - Last minute canoe trip booked with my Mum. We absolutely loved the whole experience. Swift debrief and kitted up with life vests, onto the mini bus and down to the meet point. Hannah our guide was excellent, gave us some pointers and away we went up the canal around 1 and 3/4 miles to the aqueduct. Crossing the aqueduct took a little time due to ‘traffic’ but this could not be helped. We stopped for around 20 minutes to walk under the aqueduct and visit the shop/facilities. We took lots of our own pictures (asked some walkers to take a couple for us) but I suggested to Hannah that if the company provided the option of taking pictures as you cross the aqueduct with the view in the background that would really complete the whole thing. We were fortunate to have such lovely weather, the views were incredible and it was a fantastic day out! Would definitely recommend the experience. ☺️

Magical - This experience was magical. Rory was an excellent guide and funny guy. We lucked out with decent weather in April. Catch Bus #5 from Wrexham to Llangollen.

Great Canoe trip over the Chirk aqueduct. - Fantastic experience. Really enjoyed our Canoe trip over the Chirk aqueduct. Rory our guide was very knowledgeable and experienced and went above and beyond to ensure we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Thank you to everyone at Whitewater Active. Would highly recommend and would definitely return in the near future.

Memories that’ll last a lifetime - Best experience I’ve ever done! The team were so lovely funny and made sure we had the best experience safely. Definitely a highlight for my whole trip around the UK and will hopefully return one day with my friends from Australia to do it again!!

Superb, incredible views, fun, don't miss it! Instructors Mike & Sol are fantastic and funny. - Fun every minute. Superb views. Crew members are fantastic (Mike and Sol). It is a 10-star adventure. Go solo even if it says minimum 2. Message the Bearded Guys if the tour is full to see if they can accommodate you.

An entertaining and nice ride - The company of the group was very good and the trip on the canal an entertaining and nice affair. Timewise I would have expected a bit more... The gout was super friendly and accompanied us very well.
