• Following this, a bus tour will take you through the picturesque landscape featuring farms, forests, and quaint villages on the way to the town of Hillerød.

• Viking Ship Museum - Our guide will provide a brief introduction and lead you to the museum. From there, you can independently explore this lively museum, both inside where 1000-year-old shipwrecks are displayed, and outside, where you can walk along or board the reconstructed Viking ships and more. You may enter the ship in the harbor at your own risk, but be cautious of slippery areas and wear on the ships.

• Zealand - Enjoy a scenic drive through the rural landscape of Zealand from Roskilde to Hillerød.

• Frederiksborg Castle - Upon arriving in Hillerød, you will have 3 full hours to spend.

• This time can be divided between visiting the magnificent Frederiksborg Renaissance Palace and perhaps the baroque garden behind it. With 3 hours, there might also be an opportunity to stroll through the town center and experience everyday life outside Copenhagen. However, it’s all up to you. Just keep track of the time and remember the pickup location.

• In Hillerød, you can also enjoy lunch, either at a local café or perhaps a sandwich from a local bakery. If you choose the sandwich option, consider enjoying it on a bench by the lake surrounding Frederiksborg Palace.
