From there, it winds through a forest of coconut palms to the Atlantic Ocean, where visitors can enjoy a thousand feet of sandy beach and observe the nesting ground of the Leatherback Turtle. The trail continues through the rainforest, featuring opportunities for bird watching and sightings of crabs, iguanas, and other wildlife. Nature’s medicine can also be collected from the wild. Along the way, banana plantations stretch for miles, leading into the ruins of an old sugar mill, and the journey continues through savannahs, meadows, and mangroves. There’s no need to worry about dehydration, as water or freshly picked coconut water will be served throughout the tour. Back at the stable, the tour concludes with complimentary refreshments. Visitors will then proceed to the beautiful Dennery Falls, just 15 minutes away off-site.
