Setting Sail to Nusa Penida

The morning sun was just beginning to cast its golden glow over the horizon as I made my way to Sanur, the starting point of my much-anticipated adventure to Nusa Penida. As a marine biologist, the allure of exploring vibrant coral reefs and swimming alongside majestic marine creatures was irresistible. The promise of snorkeling at four distinct spots, each teeming with life, was enough to set my heart racing with excitement.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Ariel and Hensam, our guides for the day. Their warm smiles and friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease. As I savored the flavors, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience such a beautiful part of the world.

The afternoon brought more snorkeling adventures at Wall Bay and Manta Point. The highlight was undoubtedly the chance to swim with a majestic manta ray, a creature I’ve long admired in my studies. The experience was exhilarating, a reminder of the incredible diversity and beauty of marine life.

As the day drew to a close, we returned to Sanur, our hearts full and spirits lifted.
