Joshua - Joshua was very knowledgeable and funny to be around for our tour. We booked as a group tour however we happened to be the only two booked, so my daughter and I got our own personal tour. Lots of fun. Would recommend to others however no small children as it is quite a bit of walking, my 16 year old was spent by the end. Haha. Cheers!!

Best history tour with strong effort for accurate information. Great guide with lots of side information. - I have lived in Denver for over 30 years and visited many locations before and after preservation. This was an accurate and informative tour. I traveled with two college students and one high school student who also grew up in Denver. We all give this tour a 5. We do the ghost tours in every major city we visit and this was by far the very best!

Really fun way to get... - Really fun way to get some local history you may or may not know about. We are both Denver locals but felt like we learned a lot about places we’ve walked/drove past a million times. Would definitely recommend.

Great time in Lodo - We weren’t sure what to expect. We got an amazing tour of Lodo that included history, ghost stories, and Insights into places we didn’t even know existed as life long Denverites! All of this with an extremely personable tour guide too!

Cheers! To new friends and scary stories! - Josh was knowledgeable, welcoming, and flexible. I was only planning about an hour for the tour however Josh allowed us to extend our experience by taking us to his favorite places. We would enjoy cocktails at different locations while Josh shared exciting history and interesting ghost stories with us. This tour was more like a customized walk around the city with an old college friend! Josh is fantastic…I highly recommend!

The spookiest stories are the ones that feel like they could actually have happened - Recently had the pleasure of taking the ghost tour with Josh, alongside my mom and aunt. It was a great way to experience some of the historic sites of downtown Denver, through the interesting lens of our spookiest ghost stories. One of the things I most enjoyed about the tour was Josh’s commitment to the true stories of the past rather than the exaggerated versions they have become over time. Of course, whether the hauntings are factual or not is a matter of debate, but it is very refreshing to experience how well researched the historical side is, and the ghost side focuses on the accounts of people who have experienced the supernatural phenomena. We all had a blast on the tour and are considering doing one of Smile High’s other tours when more relatives come into town. Would definitely recommend you check it out even if your interest leans towards some of the lesser known history, or a perspective on early Denver from marginalized but impactful people, rather than the supernatural. And if you’re looking for scares and unexplained happenings there’s plenty of that too.

Exceptionally friendly. Great experience. - Josh is a great story teller and instantly contracts with people. He makes you feel like you've been best friends for years and he's showing you a great places you've never seen.

Absolutely recommended - We had a fantastic time on our spooky ghost tour! Josh knew lots of great stories and a great speakeasy bar to stop at for a cheap drink. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would recommend to anyone who enjoys history and the paranormal.

Ghost tour holiday party 2025! - Josh was fantastic! We had the best time and ended up with our own private tour! Everyone on the staff enjoyed the entire experience. Josh has the perfect script and delivery with every story he tells. Highly recommend. Would give more stars if possible!
