Amazing guides , amazing views , off the beaten track. Buy your own water (very expensive) - The guide and porter were so amazing and friendly. I enjoyed the hike so much and we were blessed with fantastic weather. Everyday, Sabin and Gobinda would help us with our stuff and take our orders or just run around and do little things that would make our lives easier. They shared so much about the trek and also Nepali culture. Regardless of how hard things got, they always had a smile on their faces. They even gave my friend and I a little surprise on the last day to congratulate us on finishing the trek. These 2 men are so amazing, without them Mardi Himal would have been so different. Also all the tea houses booked by the tour company are pretty nice . They all have a stunning view of fishtail and very breathtaking starry night skies. Do note most of them are shared bathrooms and gas heaters need extra charge. Also with regards to the company. They’re very responsive , provide great reliable gear ( sleeping bags and poles were very good quality) quite relaxed in the payment process - for example I didn’t have enough USD on me to pay for 2 pax but they said we can pay to the guide instead of making me run to an ATM, really appreciated that. Unfortunately there is one room for improvement. I think it was a miscommunication, but we did not realise drinking water was not included in the package price. We had to buy them from the tea house which was quite expensive ($14 for 3l) .

An unmissable experience! - We had been considering doing the Poon Hill trek and the 3 day Mardi Himal Trek was suggested to us as an alternative that takes you to a higher altitude and therefore closer to Annapurna South and Fishtail. It was a great experience and we felt immediately comfortable with Ganesh as our guide. Ganesh was very thoughtful and reliable, whilst also having a great sense of humour! Also a huge thankyou to our porter, who ensured we had all we needed to keep warm during our trek. We can't recommend more this experience!

Best trek, best guide! - We felt like we got the guide of all guides with Ganesh! 🙌🏼 We couldn’t have had a better trek — Ganesh went above and beyond from start to finish. He always made sure we were happy and comfortable, offering helpful advice while still giving us space to make our own decisions and supporting whatever we chose. We trekked with our kids, and he was incredible with them. He was always there when we needed him, yet so effortless and unobtrusive that sometimes we’d forget he was even there. The trek was very challenging at times, especially with the kids and Ganesh got us to the end, we couldn’t have done it without him! We honestly couldn’t recommend Ganesh enough — he made our trek unforgettable. 🌟

Mardi Himmal Family Trek - We went on a 5 day family hike on Mardi Himmal with Ganesh as our guide. Our kids are 6 and 8 years old so it was a real adventure for us and a great achievement when we got up to the Mardi Himmal view point on the 4th day and then back down on the 5th day. It honestly wouldn’t have been possible without Ganesh, we felt very lucky to have him as our guide. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of and also gave use the right push, help and encouragement to get us up there, especially when our kids started struggling. Big thanks to Ganesh and our 2 helpers!

Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek - 10/10 Service from Nepal Wilderness Trekking from Start to Finish!! - My partner and I took part in the 5 day Mardi Himal Trek in October/November 2025 with Nepal Wilderness Trekking and completely loved our experience from start to finish. We corresponded with Himal in the lead up to the trek who gave very clear and useful information to help us appropriately prepare, ensuring we had what we needed. Our guide on the trek was Yakub who was very warm and welcoming from meeting him in Pokhara, as was our superstar porter Menjung. Yakub and Menjung couldn't have done more for us on the trip, they anticipated all our needs before we asked and made sure our stays in the different teahouses were as comfortable as they could be. During the trek itself we felt in very safe hands with Yakub and Menjung and had full confidence in their ability to support us throughout. They were patient with us, and we loved chatting with Yakub and his singing to keep us going when it was raining! Should we do another trek in Nepal we'd love to have either Yakub or Menjung (or better both) there with us again! Only constructive feedback point we might add would be a slightly bigger car for the journey from Pokhara to the start point in Kande might be appreciated by others.

Excellent experience in Mardi Himal Trek - My friends and I joined a 5 day Mardi Himal trek with this company, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Our tour guide, Bhim, and porter, Yohana were both incredibly accountable, friendly, and helpful throughout the journey. They made sure we were safe, comfortable, and well taken care of every step of the way. The guide was knowledgeable about the route and local culture, and the porter worked tirelessly with a smile. On the day 4, we were feeling quite tired and started wondering if we should shorten the trek and return to Pokhara earlier. Our guide listened carefully, gave us thoughtful advice, and helped us make the right decision to end the trek a day earlier. Thanks to his flexibility and understanding, we got to enjoy an extra day relaxing in Pokhara before heading to our next destination. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trek, you’ll be in great hands!

Amazing Mardi Himal Trek! - I had an amazing time on the Mardi Himal Trek with the Amazing Puja as my guide! She was so kind and helpful throughout the trek and I felt like there was no pressure at any point it was all very relaxed despite squeezing it in to 3 days! Would really recommend booking with Puja for a really fun Trek!!!

One of those memorable experiences that you might plan to repeat again - The trek was beautiful and I’m grateful for the experience. I’d like to share some feedback that might help improve future trips. Our guide Umesh was a helpful, cheerful boy but also seemed quite junior at this job and his English level made communication a bit limited. I would have appreciated hearing more interesting information about the trail, the mountains, and local culture along the way. With better preparation and guidance, the trek could have felt more engaging and organized. The porter boy Hem was excellent — strong, responsible, and very supportive throughout the journey. His help made a big positive difference. Overall, I truly enjoyed the trek and scenery, and I hope this feedback helps strengthen the experience for future travelers.

Mardi Himal trek - For my first trek in Nepal, I chose the Mardi Himal. I was able to communicate with the agency before leaving and get all the information I needed. Upon my arrival in Kathmandu, I went to the agency, where I met Saujan, who was going to be my guide for 5 days. Saujan was a very attentive, caring, and always positive guide, despite the sometimes capricious weather in September. Thank you to him for being by my side throughout this trek, both discreet and professional.
