Smooth Trekking, Fantastic Trekking Experience!! - We are a group of two females from Thailand. From the get-go, we were impressed by Himal's prompt responses to our emails. Any questions we had were swiftly replied to, and this was one of the main reasons we chose to book with this agency. Our trek was smoothly arranged. During the trek, our guide, Mr. Lal Gurung, took excellent care of us. He was incredibly polite, informative, and helpful. Our porter, Mr. Hem Gurung, was a nice young man. Overall, we believe we made an right decision in choosing this agency and highly recommend them to anyone planning a trekking trip in Nepal.

Mardi Himal - the golden roof mountain - It felt like an out of this world experience standing at the Mardi Himal BC, gazing at the magnificent Annapurna South, Fish Tail, Himceli, etc. Compared to ABC, this feels like a much closed up shot of the Annapurna range. The skies were clear on the day we hiked to BC and it was an absolute treat. My guide, Lal Gurung, was fantastic, taking care of my every need from food, accommodation to safety.

Trekking Mardi Himal - It was a wonderful experience, before leaving I was a bit scared, I didn't know if I could reach the summit without having problems, but our guide Sabin Ghale put me immediately at ease. Despite his young age, he was very reassuring, attentive to every detail, always smiling and caring. Also fundamental is the support of our porter, Biroud very polite and helpful. Without him I couldn't have made it to 4500 meters. I highly recommend this agency.

Best experience I had in mountain - I go trekking every year in the Alps, but this journey was something more. Thanks to the kindness and expertise of Sabin Ghale, we had 5 fantastic days we will always remember in our life. He has been very smiley and not invasive, because we also like a lot the silence of the mountains. Thanks also to the porter Binod who was very strong and nice with us. It is very beautiful to see young guides who are so good at working, saying by someone who is in Nepal for the third time.

Perfect trek experience. Sujan is the best guide! - Sujan was the perfect guide - so kind, encouraging and knowledgeable. The whole experience was just incredible. I would recommend anyone to do Mardi Himal trek but particularly to go with Sujan because he made my time 10x better!! I didn’t have to worry about anything because it was all sorted for me. Amazing Mardi Himal trek with Bhawani - A must-do in Nepal for beginners ! What a great experience it has been to trek Mardi Himal with Bhawani as my guide. She ensured everything went smoothly, told the best stories and made sure I was getting the best experience possible (including the best pictures and videos). Amazing memorable experience!! - I had picked this company online so I wasn’t sure what we were getting. We had an excellent experience. The guide DB and our two porters, DD and Kshitiz, were all great. They looked after us and our stuff. They also educated is along the way about what we were seeing. My husband And I would highly recommend this company and these people.

Very Flexible Approach to Remaking Trek Schedule On-the-Fly - Himal was great at communication prior to the trek (Mardi Himal Base Camp; just me plus guide, Sabin) including making some amendments I suggested to the schedule. The first day was due to end at Pittam Deurali but we arrived there by 11am. Pros and cons then emerged. We had a booking that night but other accommodation had not been booked. While that could have been problematic in other circumstances, it worked OK because I asked to completely re-make the schedule. Sabin was really patient, and we managed to find rooms for succeeding nights albeit not in our first-choice locations (Nepali New Year meant things were very busy). This allowed the trek to be planned on the fly day-by-day including choosing our own very early start times and making two trips up to the Viewpoint and one to Base Camp. Getting well ahead of the planned five-day schedule, the trek actually took only four days: there was no refund offered on saved costs though to be fair, I didn’t write to ask for one. I would likely use NWT again though I’d check about accommodation booking, and also compare suggested trek times to those mapped on AllTrails.
