Drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani (1,830 m / 6,003 ft)

Dharapani - The journey begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Besishar along the scenic Trishuli River. From Besishar, a jeep will take travelers to Dharapani for an overnight stay.

Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,710 m / 8,891 ft)

Chame - The trek leads to Chame, the administrative center of the Manang District. As the altitude increases, the landscape transforms. Trekkers will pass through rhododendron forests, enjoy breathtaking mountain views, and experience a unique cultural blend. Chame, at 2,710 meters (8,891 feet), offers a tranquil beauty after approximately 6 hours of trekking.

Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang (3,300 m / 10,826 ft)

Trek from Upper Pisang to Manang (3,540 m / 11,614 ft)

Manang - On the fourth day, the route from Upper Pisang to Geru provides stunning views of Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho, and Pisang Peak. As the path ascends, the air becomes drier and cooler. Trekkers will explore Buddhist culture in Tibetan communities and visit Barge Monastery, the largest in Manang. The path, lined with Buddhist shrines, leads to the welcoming Manang bazaar.

Day 6: Acclimatization Day in Manang

Manang - The acclimatization day in Manang, located at the base of Annapurna III, offers stunning views of Annapurna and Gangapurna. A walk to Ice Lake is recommended to aid acclimatization.

Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110 m / 13,484 ft)

Yak Kharka - Departing Manang village, the trek ascends to Tenki village, crossing a stream. The trail continues northwest up the Jarsang Khola valley, passing meadows and juniper scrub to the small settlement of Gunsa. After crossing a wooden bridge over a small river, trekkers reach Yak Kharka, passing meadows and an ancient Mani wall.

Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600 m / 15,091 ft)

Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,800 m / 12,467 ft) via Thorong La Pass (5,416 m / 17,756 ft)

Muktinath - The day’s goal is to cross Thorong La Pass, one of the world’s highest passes. Starting at around three in the morning, the ascent is challenging but rewarding. Upon reaching the summit, the effort is justified. Before descending to Muktinath Valley, located at the base of Thorong La Pass, there is time to capture the moment with photographs.

Drive from Muktinath to Tatopani (1,190m / 3,904ft)

Tatopani Hot Spring - A three-hour jeep ride from Muktinath to Tatopani awaits. Upon arrival, travelers can relax at the lodge or enjoy a swim in the hot springs.

Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,874m / 9,429ft)

Ghorepani - Leaving the hot springs, the trek passes through the Thakali villages of Sikha and Chitre, reaching the east bank of the Kali Gandaki River and ascending to Ghorepani. The path winds through lush forests of birches, magnolias, and rhododendrons, and terraced farms surrounded by mountains. The evening is spent in the charming village of Ghorepani, perched on a hill.

Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m / 10,525ft) - then trek to Birethanti (1,039m / 3,250ft) - Drive to Pokhara

Poon Hill - An early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) offers a spectacular sunrise over the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges, including Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna. Poon Hill is a favored spot for photography due to its stunning vistas. After capturing the scenery, trekkers return to Ghorepani for breakfast, then proceed to Birethanti and take a bus to Pokhara.

Pokhara - The trek continues from Ghorepani to Birethanti, followed by a bus ride to Pokhara.

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1300 m / 4265 ft)

Kathmandu - After breakfast, travelers bid farewell to the picturesque lake city of Pokhara and board a tourist bus to Kathmandu. Alternatively, a 25-minute flight is available (not included in the package, additional cost).
