A beautiful discovery - What a memorable day, despite the mild weather! We discovered authentic landscapes of the Nepalese countryside, with great views of the mountains. The Namobuddha site is simply breathtaking. Throughout the hike, the guide’s explanations of the fascinating mix of Tibetan and Hindu cultures gave me a new perspective on this country.

Peaceful Tour - This was a highly satisfying journey up the mountain to Namo Buddha Monastery, a famous pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists to pay respect to a former reincarnation of the Buddha who sacrificed his body to a hungry tigress because she was starving. We walked up the gentle mountain trail, enjoying the views of the valley and learning about the history behind the area and the monastery. Had a really nice lunch at an eco farm. I enjoyed walking around the monastery grounds, around the main temple, the stupa, the Mahakala Temple, the Dewachen Temple, and the colorful prayer flags fluttering everywhere. The whole place felt peaceful and inspiring—such a rewarding day! I would recommend this to anyone looking to venture outside the city for a day. It's an easy, meaningful escape with beautiful nature. The guide is highly knowledgeable and articulate about the history of the area, adding to the immersive ambience of this historical place.
